The first thing I did was smell the hair and, thank goodness, there wasn't one! Locs are sturdy so I assume they will keep structure when tucking my hair into them. Will update after installing them. UPDATE: Love the hair! Got many compliments. I have about 1.5 bundles left (so about 18 locs left). I could've used less, but I'm not good at eyeballing how much hair to section off. Some of the top of them are thick and can be hard to put in if you have small braids. So just make sure that your braids are a bit loose. But other than that, these are very nice and I love them. This is my first time getting them
