  • Edge of Tomorrow... 2?
'Edge of Tomorrow' didn't perform as expected in theaters, but gained a lot of momentum after its theatrical release, the film has gained such a cult following and enough momentum that there is a rumor that a sequel may be in the works very soon, and if that happens you want to add this to your collection to get up to speed on Tom Cruises epic action adventure syfy opus! This 4K version, In comparison to the included Blu-ray (which is 100% identical to the previous release), Warner Bros.' upscaled 2160p transfer offers more than a few immediately noticeable improvements. Color is cooler, and contrast is improved, towards the end of the film, the blacks can be oversaturated and distracting as portions of some frames are swallowed by darkness, and looks overly processed, on par with its bluray version. However, Dolby Vision may be able to clear this up depending on your HDTV and 4K player set up. The selling point however is Dolby Atmos, the audio is superb and those with the right equipment will enjoy an improved 7.1 audio experience that's not available on the bluray version. The audio track of this film with its balanced bass track, which in the past has probably rattled and killed entry level subs, is much smoother. 5*****Stars! ... show more

  • Much better than anticipated
I don't even remember this movie being advertised, but it's very good. The ending is a bit so-so, but the rest is outstanding.

  • Great film and great 4k
Movie is excellent with Tom cruise and Emily blunt acting their butts off. Simple Sci-Fi time loop story but excellently done with good CGI and effects. The practical effects and props look really good. The whole movie really looks great in 4k and is definitely worth picking up.
