I am confident drivers are more award of my presence when I use my turn signals and hand signals together. I definitely have more room to turn.     • Blinkers are fantastic, and fits comfortably.
I adore this helmet. The speakers are decent, and the mic is alright as long as it isn't super windy or you're on a busy road. But mostly I just love that I can listen to my music, still hear traffic, and have blinkers. There's a huge difference riding with blinkers. Drivers give me more space and pass me more confidently when they can tell where I want to go. There's a noticeable difference if my battery dies in the middle of my ride. Drivers will get closer to me and are a lot more nervous to pass me, and having a car hang out in your blind spot is more nerve wracking than them passing me. I also love that you can't tell how awesome this helmet is when it isn't on, because it doesn't look like it has lights or speakers, so i don't have to worry about anyone stealing it since it looks like a regular helmet. I'd absolutely buy this helmet again. I will say that i have a tiny head and it adjusts down to my head great. But my husband has a giant head and it's a little tight on him. ... show more

    • Great helmet for bikers!
This was a great buy for me. I just purchased my first e-bike and this helmet is awesome. It was quite easy to hook-up with blue tooth. The sound is adequate yet does not affect safety. I love the turn indicator which adds safety to the ride. It comes with controller that hooks onto the handle bar (no tools needed). While this helmet is more expensive than most helmets, having the SOS feature was the deciding factor for me. It does not have a head light in front but I have front light on the bike so that feature was not critical. I wear a size 7.5 hat and the Large size is a perfect fit (easy to adjust size with twist knob at back of helmet). ... show more

I have no idea why this receives such high reviews. The speakers are pretty bad, ok. I can deal with that. However, the connectivity to the little remote is also terrible making it a pain to use the turn signal function and etc. Just like my last relationship, I tried for a long time to make it work. In the end, the cost of this helmet is not reflected in the functionality. You’d be better off buying a standard helmet and purchasing all the other components separately. ... show more

Disappointing start. We had two batteries on hand so we could replace them (bought two helmets). Haven’t used the helmets yet but . Instructions could be clearer.

    • Love it so far
What I like about this helmet is that it simplifies my life and saves time. Instead of having to manage my Bluetooth headset and helmet taillight, I just deal with the helmet. That means charging 1 thing instead of 2, remembering to grab 1 thing instead of 2, and putting on 1 thing instead of 2. The helmet looks completely normal, so people don't know that it's high-tech until you turn it on. My only complaint so far is that plugging in the micro-USB cable is a bit persnickety and requires some jiggling. I'm hoping that will resolve with daily use. [update] I've owned this helmet for 6 months now, but I used a warmer ski helmet over the winter instead of this one. Now that it's warm enough to wear this again, I'm finding that the battery capacity is distressingly poor: less than a half hour after removing the charging cable, the helmet starts complaining "low battery, please charge". [update 2] Over the summer, this problem went away. Either I hadn't been giving the battery a good charge, or the battery recovered its charging capacity somehow. ... show more

I chose the Livall MT1 Neo Smart Helmet over the Sena M1 helmet for two reasons. One, the fit, for me was better, and two, the internal speakers sounded better to me. On the side, the Sena helmet, I believe feels a bit more robust in its construction overall. Had it been more comfortable, I might have chosen it. In any cases both have red LED lights in the back. For me, neither were so bright that they help visibility much in the bright sunshine, but the Livall helmet lights flash in patterns you can set from the smart phone app. Finally, the Livall helmet has a feature integrated into the helmet that will send a signal to your smart phone to call 911 is you have a serious fall or accident and are unable to respond. So far the battery has performed well. I have read some complaints about the battery failing early in some cases, but there is a way to reset the battery in the instructions that may help with that issue. ... show more
