The installation was quick but it takes a while to read the instruction because there were no words, just pictures. One person can easily build this but 2 people can get the job done faster. The middle rail does not have any nailing at the top so be prepare to not try and nail the top of the middle rails in. The shelves help hold the middle rail up, so it's very sturdy. This is a very beautiful and sturdy closet. To test the sturdiness, I sat on the middle shelf and was surprised that it was able to support me. If I had the space in the area I used this, id have bought two. After months of searching, this was the winner for the shelving I needed. Put it in my spare bedroom to house my workout clothes and other equipment/accessories. Very sturdy-i have numerous sets of dumbbells on the bottom shelf. Was time consuming putting together by myself, but I did it while sick, so I'm sure it would be a speedier process when you're healthy. Although I would have designed it differently for easier assembling, it was still fairly simple. The parts are good and the overall final product is great. For the price point and end product, it’s just right. About 55 minutes to put together solo. I accidentally bought two of them because I measured my closet in the wrong way. I asked for a return and I noticed that the seller is the nicest one that I have ever had when shop on Amazon. They helped me make things fast for the return, kept track of the return process and updated me immediately until the return is completed. I would give them 5*+ for my experiences. I love the product so much, I wished I can keep the other one but I just have a small house, so sad to return it. If I need it in the future, I absolutely will buy from them again. The product is a heavy material that makes it sturdy so I would recommend if you think you need two, just buy one first to see if it's totally fit then buy another one because in case if you want to return, you have to need an SUV or a truck to transport them. ... show more

I love this stand alone closet as it works great for my use. I added a clear plastic closet covered to help prevent dust collection and its really nice. Assembly was difficult as YOU CAN NOT TIGHTEN ALL SCREWS until everything is in its place. I also had to place and remove pieces to other places as the instructions are not that clear and all parts are not clearly labeled. It is NOT like putting an ikea product together. I still love this closet as it checked off multiple needs for me and holds a decent amount of weight, but maybe have 2 people work together on it. It's very sturdy and aesthetically pleasing. Do not depend on the one page instructions. You're better off looking at the "big picture" then assemble it yourself. The instructions would have been useful if it just said the following;) 1. Look at the assembled product on Amazon 2. Unpack the package and group the same items (by size and color). 3. We bought this for our guest room. It is attractive, solidly built. Assembled easily. It is narrower than a hanging suit, so we placed it some inches from the wall so that hanging clothes didn't get cramped. There was one mismatch that wasn't a deal breaker; the center verticals were short and I had to fill the gap (cosmetic, not structural).
