DUAL-PURPOSE LEGS The climbing side of the ladder features wide-flared legs for increased side-tip stability.     • After 9mo the ladder is unsafe to use!
I was impressed with this ladder at first(it has some good attributes) but after less than a year it’s buttons do not engage to lock the legs open..... or lock them closed for that matter. This unfortunate mechanism lock failure makes my ladder a dangerous piece of equipment to use any further. So after spending almost $250 I would have expected a better design focused on longevity of use and a worthwhile return on my small business equipment investment. ***Customer service update; Outside of the one month return window from Amazon Business - customer service has essentially told me to “go pound sand”. So if you intend to treat your ladder like an Italian super model maybe this will last you longer than a year.... maybe - but if you intend to use this product for business related work I would look elsewhere if I were you. I will now end up purchasing a second ladder without the locking buttons gimmick- in short I will be spending for 2 ladders when I only wanted one that would safely allow me to climb it. I should have purchased one ladder somewhere else (ie: buy local) without the locking gimmick and saved the $246 to put towards gas for 3 weeks instead. Lesson learned = $500 ***customer service update*** After doing my own due diligence I found I had purchased Assurant insurance - but it was only later confirmed after spending an inordinate amount of time convincing the CS rep that the screen he was looking at did not show all the purchases I made that day. That original customer service rep - offshored job in India - was unqualified to do the job he was doing to say the least, which took company time out of my day to find what he should have been able to find himself. So after finding that I had the product insured I requested a phone call from Amazon. That 2nd customer service rep told me about their $50 restocking fee for a broken ladder - which explains why I get damaged products once in a while. So after my issues being heard I was given credit for the restocking fee. I also found out that being insured also does not get a replacement item quickly exchanged. Rather I was given my money back on Amazon credit to once again go back through the whole process of choosing & shipping a ladder along with the risk of damage that found out about with my first ladder purchase. I will use the credit for other products but that was the last time I use insurance purchased through Amazon. ... show more

It’s ok. I don’t like the noisy lower step feature, and I don’t see that it’s a safety risk without it. If I could do it over I would get the taller version. I really can’t reach much inside the house with this one when used as an a frame, such as changing light bulbs which was a big reason for me in buying a ladder to begin with. ... show more

I am a large guy (6'4 325 lbs) I feel very comfortable on this ladder. function is good. very similar to most little giant ladder action. i am not that big of a fan of the ground cue on the bottom step. but I understand it might help some. It is nice to have a smaller, maneuverable ladder that is rated at this weight. would buy again. ... show more
