Description

Referred to as Koopa Wizards in the Super Mario World television series are bespectacled Koopas that can cast spells. Magikoopas made their debut in Super Mario World. They wear blue robes and hats resembling the garb of a wizard. They are generally considered to be high ranking members of the Koopa Troop and some act as personal advisors for King Bowser Koopa. Kamek, the leader of the Magikoopas, appears in several installments of the Yoshi series. He is usually the main villain or assistant to the main villain. Kamek is the only Magikoopa that appears in the Yoshi games. Lone Magikoopas appearing in other games are often said to be Kamek. Occasionally, Kamek is actually intended to be the character in question, but is accidentally called plain "Magikoopa" due to the fact that "Kamek" is also the generic name for the species in Japanese. An example of this is Mario Party 9, where Kamek is called by name in the PAL region but is called "Magikoopa" in the North American version.

  • It’s ruined

I don’t like it because the wand comes off easily, and now I have to buy another one. And I waited a week!

  • Funny Little Guy

In regards to the Magikoopa character, you don't see it being used so much in Super Mario games. I am happy that the Little Buddy manufacturer made a plush of this little guy. The plush is about the average size of all the other Little Buddy Super Mario series plushies. The fabric is very soft to the touch and is high quality. As an adult, I collect these Little Buddy plushies for fun, though I can assure most kids would love to own and play with this particular plush. ... show more

  • Big Hit

2017: My 7 y.o. grandson is in to all things Mario right now. He started asking for the plush figures after seeing Utube videos that show grown men playing with these things. I figured he would tire of them fairly quickly since they don't light up, make noise or move around by remote control. Much to my surprise and delight he loves them and spends hours acting out scenes with them. He now has about a dozen of them because grandma is an easy mark...but anytime he has to be in the house and can be entertained by something other than a video game and he can use his imagination is a win. Kamek is one of his favorites so far. It is very well made and has stood up to some serious beat downs from Mario, Luigi and Yoshi. I have ordered several of the plush figures from 3 or 4 different makers. The figures from Little Buddy seem to be the nicest and most well made, so when there is a character that he wants and it is available from more than one maker I generally will opt for the one by Little Buddy. 2020 UPDATE: My grandson is now 10 and still loves his Mario plushes. He was actually playing with them today. He makes movies of them using his tablet now. They have stood the test of time well. He had one that came apart a bit on one of the seams and was a breeze to take a couple of stitches in it to make it like new. Not many toys do you get this kind of mileage out of with a young boy. Still stand by my assessment that the Little Buddy plushes are the best. ... show more
