I generally use these for cutting PVC and other medium density materials. It is a really amazing process to see them go through PVC like butter. I used one of the blades this weekend to cut off a 1/4 inch 304 stainless steel bolt. It did the job fine, but it took a chunk out of the blade. It is still usable, but not straight across anymore. I had this on a Dewalt brand oscillating tool. I'll get these again, they are great for most applications I need it for. ... show more

Well the description said it would cut through nails but as you go deeper into the ad it states non hardened metal. The actual package says it will not cut hardened screws or nails. I used one blade to cut throught 3 drywall screws and you can see the results. I have no idea if they were hardened or not. I was removing a fireplace mantle and it took all 3 blades for 8 screws total and now they are trash. I should have read the description fully I suppose but how does one know if your nails / screws are hardened when your removing cabinets or such? Never know what contractors use to install stuff. I did like the length and It did what I hoped it would do even though I can't use them again. Would be good for non metallic jobs but I don't recommend trying to cut away anything secured with nails or screws. ... show more

The quality out of the package looked good and I like the length of them. I used them to cut old rusty metal corner bead behind cement like plaster in a home I was working on. They got the job done but they were done after said job. Again, what I was cutting through was pretty nasty so I was pleased they did the job.
