We used this pre lit Birch Tree on a covered porch over the holidays. I believe it's the 5'-6' height. The branches are nicely lit, easily moveable. At first, I was not convinced that this is warm light, which is what I wanted, and what it is described as. Warm or cool, it looked very pretty outside. When we brought it inside & started using it in the living room, I was certain that it is not a warm light - which really bothered me, as to how bright the lights seem. It's possible the lights have a warm look to them against the white trunk, so maybe it's that there are so many lights, that the intensity is more noticeable inside. The base it comes with is sturdy, but we did attach a wooden base. The tree trunk and branches are very life-like, as far as the markings of the birch. I spent a great deal of time comparing pre-lit Birch Trees before settling on this one, and am happy with the purchase. ... show more

    • Beautiful Fall/Winter glow for your home!

I just put my lighted birch tree away for the season in March. It's still cold here, but the Spring is arriving finally. This little tree gave our home the nicest, warmest glow in our living room all through the Fall and Winter. It is so lovely!! Nothing really to assemble, just plug in and enjoy!

Purchased: 6 foot birch tree We've always had a real tree for the holidays, but it's getting to be too much. I've never cared for artificial evergreen trees - they don't smell good, which is half the point, and they never look right either. I thought I'd try this as an alternative, and have been pleasantly surprised by how pretty it is and how seasonally appropriate it feels, for our Hanukkah/Christmas/Winter Solstice holiday home. I'm thinking it might look good with some added decorations, like a string of blue mini lights, or some small ornaments or snowflakes, but my beloved feels that would be going a bit overboard. Maybe next year. Meanwhile, I'm very happy: I got a good deal, the tree is easy to assemble & adjust, light enough to handle easily by myself, and yet definitely sturdy enough to support some ornaments. Best of all, the cat finds it totally uninteresting! Happy Winter, everyone! ... show more

I liked the tree very much however I wanted to love it not just like it. PROS: 1. Beautiful colors and distribution of branches and needles. Looks very realistic. 2. Very easy to assemble and comes in a nice compact packaging box that's sturdy and easy to store away. 3. Lights are very well distributed and not overpowering. The color is warm and cozy. 4. Height is great for what I wanted and I love the versatility of being able to place it outdoors as it comes with pins to hold it in place. The bottom is a beautiful plate that looks like roots which has 4 holes for the pins if you want an exterior application. 5. The wire is long enough and same color as the tree trunk very easy to conceal. CONS: 1. There's no On/Off switch on the cable or tree leaving you with the only option to unplug the tree each night versus a click of a button. Hence there could be a remote control option I'm sure for a bit of an amount more this can be easily done. 2. The branches are flexible but at the joint with the trunk they're basically kept in place by this tape that wraps around the branches and trunk - brown colored - in adjusting one of these branches the tape tore a bit on one side now I have a looser branch that I don't think will hold up the constant bending when putting it away then set it up for future Christmases. This can be thought of a bit better abs find a solution for this problem so that we don't find ourselves in the predicament of having to buy another in a couple of years. I wanted this tree to be a good investment and pay itself back with future usebut I'm weary based on what I observed so far. 3. When assembling it at one of the connectors - it comes in 3 pieces that have to attach by screwing them together. It makes it super hard as you're getting to the last rotations and mine still reveals a bit of the white plastic so I had to use a marker to cover it. OVERALL: I like the tree, i think it was a good purchase, the price was ok and looks stunning decorated for Christmas but leaves room for improvement. I will keep it because generally it's a very nice realustic looking tree with beautiful lighting but I'm not 100% satisfied. Only 4 stars from me. ... show more

I use this in my dining room. It is pretty and the light adjustment feature makes it even better as light to use at night since my dining and living room are attached. The only thing I didn't like aesthetically are the two handles sticking out about half way up the trunk but since my lamp is in corner it isn't really visible. ... show more

This is a great little tree! It is easy to assemble, and the lights have a warm glow. I have purchased a few of the types of trees in the past and this is the best one yet. I've looked for one of these trees for a long time and this one is perfect. The limbs are very sturdy and easy to shape. It makes a great accent piece as well as a holiday tree.
