Basics Acrylic Paint is a heavy body acrylic with a 'buttery' consistency for easy blending. It contains permanent artist pigments and it retains peaks and brush strokes. It is ideal for learning color theory and color mixing and is intermixable with all Liquitex Professional Acrylic Colors and Mediums. Way back before I actually painted on canvas I would use full cart and the cheapest acrylic paint available. But if you’re looking to do some serious painting, I would definitely suggest Liquitex. It’s super beginner friendly but I’ve seen plenty of professionals use it as well. I like that it’s readily available at a lot of places. These paints are wonderful! I enjoyed using them very much and I haven’t used acrylic paints in forever. Decided to give an unknown (to me btw) brand a try instead of really expensive ones and loved itttt!
