This sweater fits well, is soft, and warm. It slips easily over my head, and I did not have any problem, as some have said they did, of poking a hole in the fabric. There is NO smell of any sort associated with it, and it was packed nicely for shipment. I will have it dry cleaned, as I do all my sweaters, when the time comes, so shrinkage is not an issue. A bit larger than I expected around the waist, but otherwise a pretty sweater. I like the color and the texture around the shoulders, but I do find the wool fabric a liiiiittle itchy.

I really, really wanted to love this sweater. It is very soft and a flattering cut. However, after the first time I wore it, it had a hole where the stitching came apart at the neckline in the front. I’m going to try to sew it and hope the turtleneck covers it, but I’m not hopeful. Disappointed for sure. Just wanted to update. I heard from the seller right after I posted this review. Light, very thin, see through in cream color, and the neck is itchy. I've seen better Merino wool, this one isn't very good. Size is good, longer fit past waistline.

    • Beautiful sweater, but use dry cleaning sheets

This is a very pretty sweater, but if you wash it according to instructions (wash in cold water & lie flat to dry), it will still shrink by one size, so order a size up. I ordered a medium and it fit beautifully until I washed it. It now fits like a small, so I’m trying a large. Update: I have found that using Woolite dry cleaning sheets in the dryer is the best way to clean these sweaters. There is some shrinking, but it’s very minimal (about 10-15%). The quality of these sweaters is very good for the price. They are very soft and not itchy. I have ordered several of these in different colors. ... show more

This is a beautiful sweater that I purchased in the lavender color. It’s light and warm and looks very classy on. I am looking forward to wearing this on an upcoming trip to Europe in the winter. Merino wool is awesome for travel as it washes well, is very light, and is also very warm.
