I love cashmere cardigans and have several in a variety of colors but I believe this brand is the best for quality and value. My previous brand, the buttons chipped horribly. However, this brand has high quality buttons that withstand dry cleaning. Yes, all cashmere pills, but this brand came with a cashmere brush to keep it looking fresh and new. I love the free fingerless gloves. We spent Christmas in NYC and the gloves kept my hands really warm with the convenience of having ready access to my fingers when needed. This cashmere sweater is a nice wool, although not the highest quality cashmere. For the most part, it is soft, lightweight, and warming. I got a size medium (I'm 5'7", 155lb, size 8-10), and the fit through the shoulders and waist was OK for me. The sleeves, though, are rather tight. If you have arms that have substance to them, this sweater will probably be pretty uncomfortable. The wool doesn't have a ton of stretch to it. But it has a little bit to make it wearable throughout the day. Overall it's...OK as a sweater. The fabric is alright for a wool but not notable for cashmere. And the fit through the sleeves is too tight. So nice, but could be better in some ways. ... show more

I absolutely love this sweater. I ordered purple and I’m going back for the grey one.The fabric is thicker than I expected for a $100 cashmere sweater. I did order one size larger than usual and glad I did. The sleeves are long enough and I like a slightly loose fit.

I originally ordered one of these in khaki and was SUPER impressed. So soft and cozy, warm without being too warm, breathable and perfect for layering. I ordered the same size, small, and the fit is exactly the same - slightly short on my ridiculously long arms but nothing crazy and a perfect fit everywhere else. I am OBSESSED with this red color! It's a beautiful true cherry red and looks fantastic with an all black outfit. The button holes on this cardigan are a bit smaller than the other one I own and are kind of a pain in the butt to use but I leave it unbuttoned and they'll get larger with use, I'm sure. There were also extra goodies in this package that I didn't get in the first one which was a welcome surprise! I got a sweater brush (? it's not a shaver but I haven't seen anything like it before so I THINK it's a brush?) and some good quality, cute little cuffs that can be worn on the arms or as boot socks. Merino wool is generally "cheaper" due to the quality and length of the merino, leading to faster pilling and scratchier texture. I've had no issues with this pilling and I'm seriously impressed with the quality for the price. This is such a good deal, you would see this same sweater at Nordstrom for $150+ ... show more
