When this LINROMIA rug arrived folded I though oh no , not again, this will take forever to lay flat . It took 12 hours or less and it laid flat . The pattern / color is super neutral and reversible ( picture 5 is the darker side ) meaning that it fits pretty much any color scheme you got going. I wanted it for my outdoor porch and that’s where it’s been living now for a few weeks , it did get a tad wet during the last storms downpour , however, it didn’t change anything , it dried fast . If you use it indoor on hard flooring I suggest placing something under it that keeps it from moving , since it’s printed on both sides there is no rubber padding and it slides easy . On carpet it doesn’t move as much but still needs something to stand on it or rubber edge anti sliding thingies. Outside I have two patio chairs and a tiny table on it and that keeps the rug from sliding or flying away. I regularly either sweep or use my blower to remove any debris such as leaves / pollen etc. so far I didn’t have to wash it , but it’s good to know that I can. For the value this is my favorite carpet -mat . It’s not thick or super soft/ fluffy , yet it is durable and pretty , versatile and perfect for the area I got it for . ... show more

The surface of this is soft and fun to walk on with bare feet. I’m not sure which side is supposed to be up, but I think it works both ways! It is so beautiful— highly recommend!!
