Water resistant, good magnets, I didn’t do freeway speed but held nice up to 45 mph. Used both lights for 7 hours and didn’t drain my truck battery. Very happy with them!

    • A realistic 4.8 out of 5 versatile light with many options but could be a tad brighter
BLUF - I'd give this light 4.8 our of 5 due to the fact that it possibly could be a bit brighter. I really like the seven different light patterns that you can pick from. The plug is plenty long and allows you to install this light almost anywhere. As my first "test" - I have driven with the light for approximately 100 miles at speeds close to 70mph and it stayed put, so while the magnet may not seem as if it is the strongest, it worked fine in my real world test. I also like the fact that they have two switches on the plug. One that is lit for on-off so you can tell if the light is on or not, and the second to select the pattern. The only reason for not a full 5 stars, is that it seems as if it could be a bit brighter. I installed this at night because I was curious to see how it looked, and while you could easily see it, in my mind I would have gotten more of a reflection off of the surrounding buildings. For context, these do not seem quite as bright as my regular hazard lights which is what I am comparing them too. I do not really know how visible they are during the daytime or in "real world" conditions since I was driving and can't really see it. With that said, they are not distracting to the driver at night as you can't really see any of the flashing around you. You probably wouldn't want these if you were a professional heavy hauler as you would want something brighter, but for the average homeowner that might want a bit more visibility on a compact tractor, side by side or for the occasional hauling of equipment on a trailer, these are a great and economical alternative. I got these lights to use when moving my RV in and out of my yard and onto a busy street, which I usually do at night, due to less traffic. The lights are really bright and I like that they have different modes. There are two buttons on the 12v plug. One button turns on the lights on and the other switches between modes. I really like these buttons, they don't feel cheap at all and are easily felt when driving so you don't have to look down at them. There are fuses in the 12v plugs and the kit actually came with extras, which is really nice. The kit did not come with a storage bag, which is unfortunate. The kit also didn't come with an adapter to allow two 12v plugs to be used with the single 12v outlet in almost all vehicles. This kit is priced well and competitive with similar products. I took off a star because I have to got buy an adapter separately and there is no storage bag included. ... show more

Micromobility is a critical component of my transportation strategy. My e bike and bike trailer are important tools as both a back up vehicle, and a low cost fair weather alternative to save a bit of gas. Unfortunately, my routes do not have safe bike lanes, so I need to protect myself in other ways. My goal with ordering these strobe lights is to mount them to my bike trailer’s flat floor and power them with a 12V power bank. This should function as a very powerful supplement to typically weak bike tail lights. Each light’s base comes with 3 holes for use with the included nuts and bolts. Since my bike trailer has bars, I choose to install the lights with metal zip ties for convenience. A downside is the base is plastic. While the strength is sufficient to support the light itself which is quite lightweight, you certainly don’t want to put it somewhere it will receive other forms of pressure. Connecting it to my 12v power supply, toggling on/off and the different light modes is intuitive. The light will also remember the last selected mode if the power is cut. Both lights worked out of the box, I did not observe any quality issues. ... show more

I was perusing the lists of items offered for review on Amazon Vine a few weeks ago, when I spotted this pack of two LED rotating strobe, beacon warning lights, that was made available by the LINKITOM Store. I had an idea that this type of beacon could help me with a project that I was working on so, I made a request and received the package the next day. Here are a few photos: PHOTO 1: I removed this box from the Amazon delivery box and opened it, PHOTO 2: to look down on the tops of the two beacons. PHOTO 3: I spread the contents of the box out, to make sure that everything had arrived. PHOTO 4: I wired two 6.4V LiFePO4 batteries in series to obtain 12.8V and connected one of the beacons. I tried out this pattern, PHOTO 5: and then another. I have a home security project that I’ve been working on, and want to mount these at the corners of my house to turn on when the alarm goes off. I’m in hopes that the flashing lights along with the noise will scare off any evil deed doers, notify the neighbors that there is a problem and that help is required, and identify to any responders, exactly which home required their assistance. I’m satisfied that these will work well for what I have planned, probably more so at night, but hopefully during the day as well.
