Recommended size was Medium, but based on reviews, I ordered Small and happy I did! If I had ordered Medium I definitely would have returned it. This is definitely an oversized, button front sweater, with Pockets (!) that is thicker medium weight yarn but perfect for chilly weather and for people who don't like feeling constricted. I think it's too thick~heavy to wear under a vest or coat but perfect with a long sleeve shirt ~turtleneck, pants, or dress, and boots then throwing on a scarf for work or play to complete your look. Since it is oversized it's more casual than dressy but maybe with it belted it'd look dressier. I'd love 1 in every color, it's really That comfortable & cozy... The color is the perfect light brown~nutmeg shade that can be worn year round. I'd definitely recommend buying this, just be careful with the sizing. ... show more

The feel of this sweater is wonderful. I love the yarn and I got the nutmeg color in size large. I am 5.8 inchest tall and about 155lbs (on the way down!). It looks elegant and over sized. I do wish it had pockets, but it is elegant and I chose a color that will go with most any other color top I wish to wear under it. This sweater is incredible quality. It’s a little over sized so size down for a tighter fit if that’s what you’re looking for. I ordered a medium and a large. Both are oversized but the medium is a little shorter so o prefer the large as I’m tall (5’8). I love how thick it is great quality fabric.
