This ride-on tractor was ordered for my 3yo tractor-loving farm boy. I assumed it would be a big hit, however, it missed the mark. Assembly was more complicated than I expected. You have to be careful not to strip out the plastic when installing the screws. Additionally, it comes with 2 different sized washers. I wasn’t paying attention and used the wrong ones resulting in undoing what I’d already completed. However, overall, it wasn’t too terribly bad. First of all, maneuvering a vehicle with an attached trailer is not a trivial task, even with a toy. It takes a bit of practice to get the hang of, especially in reverse. Additionally, the turning isn’t very sharp. If this is played with indoors, you’ll need a very large and empty room. Otherwise, it’s best suited for outdoors simply for the space requirement. Despite the instructions saying to charge before first use, that didn’t happen. It was still charged sufficiently enough to get quite a bit of play time out of it. Operation is a little more complicated than expected. We have a few motorized kids vehicles already and they’re fairly simple to operate. This tractor has 2 power buttons: one for the global power and a 2nd power button for the lights. Nothing operates unless the global power switch is on. When you turn on the master power it makes a sound of starting up the engine. For movement, the direction is controlled by a gear stick, but doesn’t actually move until the gas foot pedal is depressed though. The gear stick has a high, low, and reverse setting. However, the low gear is still pretty fast for both my 3 and 4 yo kids to operate comfortably. The gas pedal is an on/off operation without any speed control. All this complex operation is more accurate than all our other motorized toy vehicles, but it gives a steeper learning curve for the targeted age group. Right now, my 3yo is a bit scared of it but I imagine he will warm up to it as he develops and figures it out better over time. The 4yo is a bit more confident in its use, but is still not able to operate the pedal as well. The remote control helps to make up for the complicated manual operation. This allows the younger kids to ride while being operated by an adult or older sibling. However, this is a double-edged sword. The remote also allows the older siblings to take over for the sole purpose of annoying the rider. Good times… Overall, this is a great toy in theory, but it’s better geared for 5y and up. This tractor is so cute and so much fun. It was easy to assemble although the plastic wrenches they provided both broke so grab your own for assembly. It was easy to charge and as soon as it was ready our kids learned how to drive. It was easy for them to pick up and this tractor made it easy. It has 2 speeds and a reverse. We started on low and now it's always on high, but that's not that fast. Haha. The included trailer can carry all the stuffed friends or carry around whatever they want. It has a bunch of songs preprogrammed in and has Bluetooth so you could play your own songs but after only 5 minutes the sound functions stopped and have not worked since. It's too bad because the tractor sounds were really cute but it's okay because the songs were a strange eastern techno. It still runs great and the headlights work just no sound. It takes 8-10 hours to charge and lasts for about 2 hours, more if not in continuous use. We charge it overnight so it can be played with the next day. Our kids cannot stop riding this. Other than the stereo breaking this is quality made and can even make it up steep hills. Highly recommended! ... show more

This ride on tractor and trailer set drew lots of attention from the neighborhood children. Many have ride on cars, but not one tractor. The bright pink color really stands out as well. Typical plastic construction of most ride on cars and the assembly if fairly easy. There were a couple of small screws that were tough to install. I recommend you get a magnetic small tipped Phillips head screwdriver to make it easier. It does come with a screwdriver and plastic socket for assembly. Instructions provided make for a fairly easy assembly process. The tractor has two forward speeds and reverse. When you power it up it makes the sound of a tractor engine starting up and idling. There are led lights on the front as well. It has USB ports as well as Bluetooth functions. The feature I really love is the remote control driving capability. It allows an adult to drive and control the tractor ,including steering, via the remote control. It can also be placed in park to prevent the child from accidentally taking off. The trailer is attached with a trailer hitch and can be removed. This is a great ride on vehicle and will attract the attention of all the neighborhood kids. Decent looking once assembled, and assembly wasn't a bother for me at all. Price seems on par with most riders I've seen of this style. Great for younger kids or grandkids alike as it seems perfectly suited for how fast it travels, but my concern is always how long between charges. I've never been impressed with their performance in any battery power wheel thing like this, so once it bothers me enough, eventually I'll upgrade this one to a higher capacity setup just like every other one I have owned. ... show more

My grandkids like to climb on my full-sized tractor. Now they have one of their own to play on. This seems to last as well as other ride-on toys we've gotten, I guess I was expecting more of battery technology by now. Anyway, the trailer is easy enough for them to detach on their own. I really wish all of them wouldn't try to climb on at once... ... show more
