I got this for my wifeโ€™s walk in closet. She is petite and needs this ladder to reach to the top of her custom closet. It is very light weight, easily folds and she is able to do all of this herself.

This is a very "pretty" ladder. Got it when we redid it kitchen with higher cabinets (up to the 10 ft ceiling), and it works and looks amazing. Super light, folds easily, very thin when folded, so it's not in the way at all, even in our tight pantry, the perfect height for reaching 9 ft shelves, steps have good grip, and quite sturdy (I'm the heaviest in the family at 155lb, but I'm certain it would easily support 2 of me). Only complaint is that they missed an end cap in production (see pictures). The cap appears to fit under the rivets, and the rivets are tight where the cap is missing, so I'm assuming they just forgot it during production, as I don't think it could fall off. Barely noticeable, but does leave a sharp edge exposed. ... show more

Was looking for a pretty tall but aesthetic and lightweight ladder to use for getting to tall cabinets. While it works, the steps are a bit flimsy and bend slightly under my weight (140lbs). The steps are also pretty small, especially towards the top. And the color is not nearly as gold as the pictures - in person itโ€™s more of a yellow bronze. ... show more

I love this ladder. We just finished a new kitchen and it looks beautiful. It is also the lightest ladder we could find. And since our cabinets go up 9 feet, we need a 5 step ladder. tThe rounded handle makes it easy to stay balanced when getting on the higher steps. Unfortunately, it came to us with a nick on one of the treads which really marred its attractiveness. We contacted the seller and they responded immediately. They offered a discount if we would keep it, however, we want a perfect one. So we are sending it back and getting a new one. I am giving it a 4 instead of a 5 because of the damage. ... show more

I am senior (on my way to 83) & only 5ft 1in. I have had a folding 3 step stool for at least 20 years that has been my go to step stool. When I saw this 5 step ladder/folding step stool I thought it might be too good to be true after reading the reviews. When it arrived almost right away, it came in very sturdy box, no damage & is perfect in every way. Love the brown gold color, the steps are wider & easier to use than my 3 step stool, the ladder is very sturdy, gives me confidence when going up due to the large handle on top. I just bought 100 yr old house that has very high kitchen cabinets, some were too high for me to use until I got this ladder. Every household should have at least one of these ladders. Would certainly recommend buying the 5 step ladder & have thought about buying the 3 or 4 step ladder & getting rid of my old faithful 3 step stool. This ladder gives me the height I need for high cabinets in a home with 10' ceilings. It's lightweight and easy for me to pull out of the closet and use around the house. The bottom step is wide and it narrows as it goes up to the top (5th) step. As far as sturdiness, I am 140lbs and have a pretty good core so I'm comfortable climbing ladders and am satisfied. However, if you are a little unsteady on ladders or over 200 lbs, I'd probably look for something more stable. My husband is 180 lbs and will only use the first 3 or 4 steps because he doesn't like the narrowing and doesn't trust it to hold him beyond that. ... show more
