  • Good idea, soft, install not trivial
Size: 74.8"L x 26" H (1 side) Color: White
Features, likes and dislikes: The UPGOGO lifting bed rails is an excellent idea that allows us to sleep with our YO in our large bed instead of getting a bassinet or a crib. We think its a good idea because this way we didn't have to get up during the night to pick the baby up and feed him, instead it can all be done in the comfort of our bed. I do feel this is a popular setup in Asian cultures but might not be something we do in the west. The assemble and install isn't hard, at least to get it setup looking like the description. However, to get it to a point where we thought it was safe enough was not easy at all. Our bed frame has a very wide soft edge, so we were not able to secure it without leaving a huge gap between the mattress and the rail guard. Took a bit of tinkering to get it to finally fit but we still worried the baby might roll between the guard and the mattress so we filled the edge as well... wasn't easy. Quality: Well built, large enough to fit our King bed. The rail is sturdy and even tho the mechanism that holds them together seems flimsy, it actually isn't once its properly done. Price: $65.99 at the time of review, with a $10 coupon. ... show more

  • Don't fall out!
Size: 39"L x 26" H (1 side) Color: Grey
The product is nice, the instructions are horrible. I don't know if it came with the wrong instructions or what?! I am a person who ENJOYS putting things together and have assembled TONS of stuff. This was ridiculous. I wished I hadn't looked at the instructions as I could have assembled it really quickly had I not. I got the smaller size and the instructions looked to be for a bigger sized item. Once I figured that out, that I WASN'T missing pieces, it was super simple but when you don't think you have all of the parts it's frustrating. So... if you ordered the smaller sized bed rail and it looks like your missing parts, don't fret! There are two long poles and two VERY short pole that connect together. If they aren't connecting/are the same size connection - try connecting it on the other side! My instructions were backward at this point. Otherwise it's a nicely made product, quality and it goes together really easily and quickly once you get past these issues. We're using it for a toddler bed as our toddler has rails on the bed but then there is an open part for them to get on/off the bed. Every night my toddler falls out of bed and it breaks my heart. We put pillows on the floor to make the fall softer but it's still terrifying, I'm sure. So we decided to try a bed rail. So far it's worked great and is quality. I like how it has zips on the side to make the product easier to put together. Lots of thoughtful, quality measures went into making this! ... show more

  • Height adjustable
Size: 78.7"L x 26" H (1 side) Color: White
I got this to protect my 2yr old from rolling off the bed. She's like a Roomba just rolling from one edge to the other. This bed rail worked out Great for us. Setup took some time because you have to put the bed rail together and then we had to remove the mattress and the box springs from the bed. After that, it takes a few screws on each end and it is secured. I recommend measuring the height of your mattress and then adjust the height of the bed rail accordingly while the box springs and mattress removed from the bed. It makes it SOOO much easier to adjust. Of course I didn't do that hence the recommendation. You can still adjust the height with the box spring and matress on but depending on your bed it is a bit difficult to get to the release switch to adjust the height. I also added a bumper pillow to the side of the bed where the bed rail was attached for a little bit more piece of mind. Overall, this works Great. I would recommend for your little Roomba Sleepers. ... show more

  • Quality protection!
Size: 78.7"L x 26" H (1 side) Color: Grey
I was very excited to install and try this out for my child! My youngest is currently transitioning from his old crib/daybed to a regular "big boy" bed. He has always tossed and turned throughout the night, even as a baby, so this bed rail has been a life saver! It's safe and durable, while remaining soft -which is exactly what is needed for toddlers and young children. While this product indeed has many pros, I did have some trouble with the instructions and the installation process itself. The instructions are not clear and had what can only be described as "poor english translation". It wasn't until I started to lay out all the pieces did we start to figure it all out. Then, once we had everything in front of us, we were then able to figure out what went where, so to speak. *(The instructions were the only issue I've found and we've been using this bed rail for about 3 weeks now!) After installing, I pushed and pushed against the mesh to really test the resistance of the material out. Just the strength of the mesh alone I'd give a 10/10! The rest is equally soft, and durable. The design is pretty, too! I would definitely recommend this bed rail! ... show more

  • Huge gap between mattresss and railing - not safe for toddlers!
Size: 78.7"L x 26" H (1 side) Color: Grey
I tried all 3 ways of installation, and none worked. They all left a huge gap between the mattress and the railing. A toddler or baby can easily fall into this crack which negates the whole purpose of this bed railing. Also, installation was a huge hassle. I have a king-sized bed so had to pull up an extremely heavy mattress and 2 box springs to get to the wood slats of my bed frame. Really hurt my back and now seeing a chiropractor. This product is not worth it, nor is it designed for busy parents who don't have hours and hours to do this installation. I will look into other options like a bumper. ... show more
