We ordered the 2-inch wide LifeGrip Anti Slip tape. We put a strip on the outer edge of each stair. Installation was easy, and they have stayed put without peeling off. The tape is not invisible, but it's unobtrusive -- the polished oak wood still stands out. Before we installed the tape our dog was having issues going up and down. Now she doesn't slip. It's also good for people in their stocking feet. We had to remove and reapply all the strips because our contractor hadn't finished something. The tape adhered just as well as the first time. Note: We did separately order a small rubber roller to assist with applying the tape. The roller was helpful, though perhaps not essential. ... show more

Bought this to put on top of peach tile next to the front door due to kiddo slipping with wet snow boots on. Worked immediately. Was worried it wouldn’t adhere to the grout and cut them into small squares. Had extra tape and placed in the shower. Very happy with this product.

This was the perfect solution for the slippery steps in our camper. Since they are transparent they blend into the steps and show the natural color through the non-slip tape. Although, it did not stick to our shower floor (porcelain tile) when it got wet.

I bought this traction grip tape to help my senior dog get up and down stairs more easily. It was easy to cut and apply and I thought it was going to be the perfect solution. Unfortunately, my old dog didn't like stepping on them (and my cat refused to step on them!) so I took them off. I was amazed at how little adhesive was left behind for me to remove. (Maybe it was because they were only in place for a couple of months?) And there was no damage to the finish. I guess I'll have to try something else. But I think this would be fine for humans and most pets - just not mine. ... show more

We have three steps separating our kitchen and living room. After I slipped on those steps holding my 5 month old I knew I had to do something. The baby was fine but I had a nasty bruise on my back. I ordered this tape. I prepped the steps, measured the length, curved the corners of the tape, and starting at one end, pulled the backing off while pressing the tape down on the edge of the step. It was that easy. It doesn't pull or scratch at your socks like grip tape would. It gives added traction so your feet don't slide forward. I don't know about longevity but so far it is holding up well. I'm going to try adding it to the bathtub next. An affordable solution to some hazardous household environments.     • Backing adhesive lifts after time, even if the surface is prepared properly

I have a rather slippery Ayn Odin Lite (handheld gaming system) and thought I'd try adding this grip tape to the back of the handheld. It works great for adding substantial grip and I'm able to now play long sessions of racing games with less issues. Unfortunately the adhesive on this grip tape started lifting in just a few days and has only gotten worse in the month since I installed it. I removed the Odin's smooth plastic back cover, then made multiple alcohol wipe passes on the back cover to remove any remaining oils or contaminates. I then cut strips of this tape that were longer than what I needed and used a heat gun to help mold this grip tape to the contoured Odin back cover. My fingers only touched the ends of the tape that were trimmed off to ensure no finger oils got onto the adhesive. On the positive side, I was able to remove this grip tape without any residues left on the plastic. I also really appreciated that this grip tape was clear and didn't have any coloration or yellowing. It looks good on my gray Odin. I would recommend the manufacturer offer a alternative option with a stronger adhesive, even if it would left some residue that I'd need to clean up after removal. ... show more

My daughter has a loft bed with a ladder that was quite slick (especially in socked feet). I had slipped a couple of times climbing or descending the ladder, as had my daughter. After seeing this tape in a few videos, I ordered it. I cut it to fit her ladder rungs and rounded the corners. The strips work wonderfully and aren't noticeable - perfect!     • Adds grip to my iPhone case

I'd bought an iPhone case that I loved due to its thinness, but it was very slippery. After online searches, I saw grip tape suggested to solve the problem. The roll looked white, but once you peel the grip tape itself off, it's quite clear. It was easy enough to cut with regular scissors. I cut very thin strips and placed them along the sides of my phone case and was surprised with how much they solved my problem. I thought I was going to need to add some to the back of the case, but the grip along the sides was more than enough for me needs.
