These are far lovelier than the price and brand would lead you to expect. Just as the NYTimes WIrecutter said, these are the best everyday wine glasses for enjoying both red and white wines at home and with guests. And they are dishwasher safe! Deal!!

These appear to be nice wine glasses, BUT they will NOT hold 16 ounces. Using a measuring pitcher, the wine glasses hold only 14 ounces when filled to the rim. I would rate them at no more than 12 ounces for a full pour. They arrived dirty so I would not want to send them as a gift directly. I hand washed them and they felt sturdy. They have a light feel. The other thing to note (as others have) is that "Libby Signature" is etched on the rim at the bottom of the stem. It isn't overly visible but you do notice that it is there. ... show more

Just got the glasses today and was excited as I had friends coming and what better way to enjoy new wine glasses then drinking out of them. They arrived and one glass was broken. The packaging doesn’t seem all that sturdy for packaging of wine glasses, but only one broken out of 12 isn’t to bad. As for the glasses, the red wine glasses are nice and large and look very elegant. They would fit in perfectly in some high end restaurants I’ve been too. The same goes for the white wine glasses. The glasses have a nice wide opening, which allows for your wine to continue to breathe. All in all these are great glasses and would highly recommend them. They still get five stars even though one was broke as the product Libbey made was great. Just the shipping process was to much for one of the glasses. ... show more

Great all around wine glasses. These work great for any type of wine. They have a good thickness and balance. A strong stem that you can swirl and hold them by. What more could you ask for? I like the look of these wine glasses, they are elegant but sturdy and haven’t broken easily despite being washed in the dishwasher multiple times. A nice wine glass for the cost!

Adding to wine glasses, others more expensive but these fit in nicely, good price, good size (we usually do about 2 oz wine) for most of our wines. Have only washed by hand so don't know about dishwashing but believe they would handle that okay.
