I ordered this so I could swap out a drive in case I needed to do something with another drive. Recieved it earlier today and installed it, I installed with the drives already in place, I screwed a total of 6 screws in the corners and the middle holes on the board for a snug fit. The reason for the 3 stars is because the top drive doesn't get detected by my system, the rest does. I have yet to find a solution but am willing to change from 3 star to a 4 or 5 depending on how simple of a fix it is, and will also update explaining how I fixed the issue Edit: I think i figured out the issue that was causing the problem. The drives i was using and what most people are trying to use doesnt support hot swapping natively. The only drives i had that could constantly read was the WD Blue 4tb(i only have the 4tb to test with). I originally had 2 WD Blue with a 8tb hdd i pulled from a external hard drive, which didnt work. I went and bought a WD Black 4tb from best buy and had the same issue. Just to be on the safe side i was swapping the WD Blues between each bay making sure each bay was actually working as intended and they all were working. So i returned the WD Black and replaced with a WD Blue 4tb. So far i havent had any other issues and have increased the rating from 3/5 to 4/5. It works fine and is a nice addition to get a case-mounted Type C port in my case. However, the instructions were incorrect - the two screws included did not fit the two holes the sheet said to use to mount it to the PCB. However, I used one of the screws in the third hole on the connector, and that seems to work fine. ... show more

Looks great and fits perfectly in my Lian Li Lancool Mesh 2 RGB. I even bought a second one to put on the top of the case (although I needed to dremel part of the IO encasing to get it to fit). Note - the RGB cord is a bit short. I recommend buying a simple 3-pin extension cable from MicroConnectors or something. ... show more

I liked the idea of this but it did not work well for me. First and foremost the instructions were a bit unclear. It wasn't sure if I had to remove the existing plate or not from the instructions but when messing around with it I did. Installation was not bad, however fitment after it being installed was a slight problem. One of the holes on my was not position correctly which pretty much messed up how it worked. Once I did get it in place due to the mis aligned hole drives would not slide in and out and had to be finessed into place which does away with the hole idea of it to begin with. I was able to return for a refund. Buy or not be just be careful when installing and then attaching drives. ... show more

2022-02-15 Morning Review: I just received the part last night and so far, I've been unable to mount an EVGA 3060Ti XC or an EVGA 3070 FTW3 Ultra into the PCIe slot. The reviews I've seen say it won't hold a 3080 or 3090 and mainly because those cards are 3 slot cards. The 3060 is only two slots along with the 3070 but the 3070 does extend a little past the second slot with the shroud. All that said I see no reason that any 3000 series cards shouldn't fit but I've been unable to slot a card into it as it seems the PCI slot doesn't line up with where my EVGA 3000 series cards do. It's like the metal mounting bracket on the video card is too thick or something. I plan on seeing if some simple tweaks can get it to fit, I just didn't have the time to look into last night. 2022-02-15 Evening Update: Attempted to attach a 2070 Super to it and had the same problem the 3000 series cards did. I unscrewed the PCI board and connected it to the 2070 and carefully placed the card into the position where it would rest and then looking at the PCI board the screw mounts are approx. half a screw width off. Unfortunately, due to how it's made there's no DIY adjustments possible. I opted for a replacement, and we'll see how it goes. 2022-02-17 Update: Card fit was a little tight in the bracket but was able to install an EVGA 3080Ti FTW3 Ultra in it. I'm using a Lian Li Mesh II case and had no problems installing the cage in the case. Not sure why they say you can't use a 3080/3090 as mine fits and still has around 3 inches clearance from the side glass that I would have no issue installing a 3 slot 3090 in it. ... show more

I don't have an RBG controller separate from the case yet, so the fan isn't synced to the colors. But, I do have the Lancool II Mesh C in white. This light strip overpowers the fan, lighting up the entire case. I have severe astigmatism, and if you see where my mouse is in the above picture, you may understand I'd be a little worried it was too much. With the diffuser, the light is never too much unless put on a sharp blinking effect. You don't see the LEDs, and the caps on the end go past the ends of the frosted portion of the glass window. After leaving it mounted, the 3M PE Foam adhesive did not pull off with a light tug - it is there until I force it not to be, and I am confident in that. I have read many nightmare stories about putting it on the door - not only can it look a bit ugly, but people have accidentally ripped it off due to the cable, regretted gluing to mesh when it fell off on its own, or just had a door that only opened 80% of the way(bottom drive bay becomes worthless).
