I wish adjustable skates were around when I was a kid. It would've saved my parents a lot of money. I got these for my 6yr old daughter. Its questionable whether or not the new skates she got last year will fit so I got these in the next size up. It's early fall here so it'll be a while before she gets to try them out. As for fitment and comfort, we made her try them on. They we're a little big on her as I expected but she did say that they were comfortable and support her ankles well. My daughter has taken an interest in learning how to ice skate. These were perfect beginner skates for her. They are very well made and easy to adjust. I went with a bigger size in hopes that they will last us a few seasons. They are a bit large on her, as expected, but still provided excellent support and comfort. The rainbow color design was a big hit with her. She thinks they are absolutely beautiful and was very excited to show them off to all of her friends. The media could not be loaded. I love that you can adjust the size of it by clicking the yellow button and pulling on the front of the skate. It locks securely in place. The blade is already sharp and has a concave Edge which will make it easier for the little ones to carve into the ice. There is plenty of padding on the tongue and upper heel of the whiskey around the upper ankle. There isn't much padding inside of the skate I'm guessing it's due to it meaning the ability to adjust sizes. Overall I am very pleased with the skate you will need to get paid guards because the ones that come with it are only used for shipping and do not cover the entire blade or are securely in place. ... show more
