It's a gel product and doesn't make foam. So takes some time to accept that it won't make one and just remain as a gel :) Once past that it feels very smooth and doesn't leave the skin irritated. So I love it. My only complain is that it's hard to get off of the razor. After a few strokes when taking off the hair and the gel from the razor, it takes a lot of effort (water, shaking, knocking) to get it off. My husband is a barber and i got this as a gift for him. The smell is amazing it has a woody scent if your into that leaves the skin smooth after the blade passes through the face when given a fresh hair cut.

I didnt think to write a review until i accidentally discovered that it glows in the dark. Maybe im crazy, but if you are obsessed with clean lines and perfection, this works pretty great for the price. Sure there are better shave gels, but here we are buying them on amazon…

Man, once you try this, you will never buy another can of shaving cream, foam, or mainstream gels. I shave with a straight razor, and when I switched to this product, I instantly and immediately got a closer and more comfortable shave.

This clear Shave gel is best used with straight razors. It is VERY THICK, so you don't need to use a lot at one time. You can also add water to it, to make it thinner for a better cut. I use it on my face to line up my facial hair. Works perfect for me.
