I have to say, I was a little scared when I read the reviews on how hard people said it was to put together, but honestly, all of the parts were included, and extra screws/nails were provided. The instructions are pictures only, no text, which was a bit challenging, but if you take your time, it all makes perfect sense. You'll need two people, patience, a hammer and a phillips head screwdriver to assemble. We managed to put it together on the first try with no mistakes. It is what they say, engineered wood, but seems sturdy and looks nice in my daughter's college apartment. It holds a lot of clothes. Overall, we're very happy with it. One note: there's a section of the instructions when attaching the metal drawer runners to the 2 side pieces and 1 center piece where the picture shows you should attach each of them with 4 screws, but you'll notice there are only 2 pre-drilled holes. The extra two screws are for stability, probably not necessary, but we did use them. No power tools are needed to make holes for those extra screws. We just used a hammer and small nail to make a starter hole and the screws go in super easy since it's engineered wood and not solid wood. ... show more

It took forever to put this 8 drawer dresser together. YOu will need patience here. Also, the side panels are rather soft. Meaning I dented the corner not being careful when I was moving it around during assembly. The final finished product looked good. It was perfect for storing clothing, etc. Final comment: you must attach the dresser to the wall (there is a strap provided) or it will tip over when you open the drawers. I purchased two of these dressers, placed them back to back for a sewing table in my craft room. My sewing fabrics fit perfectly in the drawers. They compliment my sewing machine cabinet beautifully. Cant wait to create window treatments for the final touch.

    • Missing Parts!!

Aargh! We received this dresser and were absolutely befuddled to discover that all the fasteners (screws, bolts, locking bolts, pegs, and other fastener hardware) were all in one jumbled bag. Seriously? We have assembled a number of other pieces recently due to a move, some at much lower price points. Every single one of them has had well-marked parts with like components, all in their own blister pack compartment or sealed plastic pouch. The labeling of the sides, top and drawer parts was inconsistent in that some had stickers and others you were left guessing that it properly matched the diagrams. The drawer glides were in their own plastic pouches and were well-labeled. But, here’s the kicker: There are eight drawers and they supplied only six drawer pulls! Grrrrrr! So, of course you can’t find drawer pulls to match the totally cheap plastic ones they supplied. We needed to purchase eight matching pulls. It was a nice upgrade, but it cost us $40 more!!! I guess that’s $40 we’ll never recover from the seller or the manufacturer. At the end of the process, it’s a good-looking unit and feels sturdy. Assembly was relatively easy, even with the poor instructions and having to sort the many screws and other fasteners. That said, I can’t recommend this product with any conviction. Took me two days to assemble (9h excluding all breaks). Extra pieces that you wouldn’t know were extra unless you counted (all the hardware comes mixed up in a large bag). Noticed one of the drawer panels was really messed up (see the weird red stain and what looks like gum covering what I’m guessing is a hole someone else made), but by then I was 4h deep into building this. When I finally finished, it wouldn’t stand up straight, so now I have two paper towels underneath a side to keep it from tipping back and forth. Like everyone else mentioned, the handles are super trashy. Wish I hadn’t paid $288 for this - especially since the price keeps going down. My advice, just buy from a reputable brand and fork over a little more money. Not worth the headache. ... show more

So far this dresser is great. 8 drawers, perfect color, and decent price. I removed a star because the screws etc come all in one bag with no separation of what each type is for. The directions are ok but you are definitely guessing a lot. So far it’s great and serves its purpose. I will update review if that changes. ... show more

More of a 2.5 stars. Putting it together right now. It seems sturdy but we're running into some issues: 1. Instructions are not super clear. 2. We're missing like 4 of the screws. Since some of them arrived stripped already. 3. Why wouldn't they give it us with all the necessary holes? We needed a drill for this. ... show more
