I'm already shopping for another pair in green. I'm 5'5", 125 lbs, long-waisted, and carry a little extra weight in my belly and on my hips. The mediums are attractively baggy and a little too long, but it sounds like, from other reviews, they will shrink some when washed. If not, I don't care because they are flattering and comfortable, and I can have them hemmed if I want. If so, there's some leeway in the overall fit. The elastic waist in the back doesn't detract from the look at all but the pants have belt loops if anyone is inclined to hide it with a belt. I wasn't sure I'd like the high-waisted fit, but I do because they feel so soft, airy, and flowing. I almost ordered the small but after reading the reviews, I sized up, and I'm glad I did. Love the brown, and the pic was an accurate representation of the color. UPDATE: Holy cow! They shrunk up a whole size! I washed them in cold water on delicate, hung them out of the sun until they were almost dry, then threw them in the dryer on low for five minutes. The pants went from being high-waisted to below the belly button, and fit so tight the pockets were gaping from being a little too small. I'd say they lost about 1 1/2 inches in length. I'm going to be Captain Obvious here and say that, because of the mixed reviews regarding shrinkage, some people are getting preshrunk fabric and others aren't. I deleted a star for inconsistency in sizing and definitely won't be ordering another pair. because I don't know what I'll get next time. Order a large and hope they shrink that much again? Nope. I absolutely love ❤️ these so much I preferred almost every color! The Black is the only reason I have to take away a star. The black collects any lint it can. It’s annoying. But I still love them. Just have a lint roller ready. They fit oversized I actually had to order down a size. They stretch and seem to stretch out little bit more as you wear them. my girls and i had a girls night and went to a couple of night clubs so i ordered these pants. they’re really stretchy and the waist band has a thing of elastic in the back so they stay up and are pretty forgiving for any body type! they’re very thinner than i thought they would be so probably not great for everyday wear in the colder months but they were perfect for a night out of dancing in a couple hot clubs! :) ... show more

i cannot even begin to tell you how comfy these pants are!! I typically would be a med/large in pants. i am 5ft, about 150. I wanted them to be slightly oversized so i had got a L. I fell in love when putting these on! so flattering, very stretchy, and the color was nice too! (i got the green). I really like these cargo pants. I have wider legs and I really don't like the tight fitting stretch pants. I would rather that they fit correctly on me. I'm used to the pants that fit you exactly and you didn't feel like you were pored into them. Even my daughter compliment on the way they fit on me. I’m 5’1 abt 160 lbs. I purchased the large and it didn’t quite fit my curves. Maybe if I was a bean pole the fit wld be btr lol. They are cute pants and seem well made, other than the button not being sewed on well, which is an easy fix. The high waste isn’t flattering for a middle aged woman who’s had several children. Decided to write this for my fellow tall women out there. For reference, I’m 5’10 and 135 lbs and never can find pants that are long enough. They’re baggy, and plenty long, so much so that they even dragged a bit lol. But I believe I got a medium, so for those who are taller than me and need that length you should be good to go.
