This does exceptionally good on 3/32" or heavier. What I didn't like was that even while it cut the 1/8" tanks fast the teeth "tear" while the finer 16tpi worked a bit slower but much smoother. Will cut through nail embedded wood easily. There is an impressive youtube video of a Lenox guy cutting up an oil tank but after cutting up a few I switched to 14-16tpi. ... show more

Lenox Gold blades are the best I've used. I'm a contractor/renovator and use reciprocating saws very often. I was unhappy with the short life of other blades and am fond of Lenox's quality I've experienced with their carbide bandsaw blades so I thought I'd give them a try. I started with their Laser line of blades and found them to be superior to other types I have used in the past. Then Amazon had some great discounts on the Gold line so I decided to try them out. They are fantastic. They cut very fast and are very strong. They outlast all other blades I've used by several times. I can go through walls with nails, screws, lumber, drywall and the blades show little wear. Other blades would last only a few passes and then be tossed. These blades cost more but will save you money in the long run with less down time for changing out blades or running to the store. ... show more

High quality and long lasting. I have not personally found anything better for doing demolition work. These blades even make quick work out of cutting 2" carbon steel pipes.

Used to cut stump roots. These blades cut much better, faster and last much longer than usual brands. I believe they are a little ticker than other brands. Very pleased and would definitely buy again.

Nice blade for all around use, keeping this product in mostly wood/plastic related work seeing as I have other blades that can be used for metal. They all wear out over time but this blade seems to be the most long lived compared to those of a cheaper variety.
