Product looked new, and even had original Intel SSD installed. Everything worked well, although for some reason, the keyboard input was strange setting it up - it kept losing focus on the input field while typing, forcing me to keep clicking again on the input field every few characters. But this might just be normal, and it seems OK now. The unit was only a year old, and seems to be still in warranty. The only problem, which isn't really a problem for me, is that the serial number tag doesn't match the internal serial number from the BIOS, which I guess is because the motherboard was replaced, but the serial number was not updated as usual. Everything worked fine. Windows installed with no problem. Linux Mint installed with no problem. I replaced the 256GB SSD with a 2TB Crucial CT2000P3PSSD8 from Amazon for $98. Reinstalled Windows with no problem. It has since automatically upgraded to Windows 11. WiFi 6 works very well, even though I'm not that close to the wireless router. It's almost as fast as the wired connection on my 400 GB connection. ... show more

I was very excited to use this laptop during my study abroad semester, but the first time I turned it on I got this message on the screen. Contacted Amazon and they proceeded to send me a video in German ( a language I don't speak) to fix it myself. The only other option was to return it, but sadly I am already abroad and they did not offer any other solution. I am very sad with this outcome. ... show more

    • Good computer for the price, but had an Enterprise Windows License.
Capacity: 16GB RAM+512GB SSD
This computer is a good spec with a relatively recent Intel processor. This version is new enough to be able to install Windows 11 and includes 16GB of RAM making it well suited for most tasks. The integrated graphics limits the computer to only very casual games. NOTE: The Windows license included with this Laptop was the Enterprise license that it originally used. Microsoft requires a new license to be sold with refurbished laptops. The Enterprise license belongs to another customer and could be deactivated requiring a new license to be purchased. I removed a star for the improper Windows license. I purchased this computer since Lenovo certifies many of its Thinkpad laptops for Ubuntu Linux. This means that Linux will have drivers (although some will be non-free) for all the components in the laptop. I installed Debian 12 and had no problems with it installing and running using the non-free repositories. All features work and I can get over 6 hours of battery life on Linux. The included stylus works without any extra steps required. The fingerprint sensors works, but needs to be activated. Overall, this computer works for what I purchased it for, but the improper Windows license could have been a problem had I intended to leave Windows on this laptop. ... show more
