I absolutely love these skates. I’m 52 & I used to skate back in the day. I’ve been wanting to get back into it for years but never did. Finally I looked online for a pair, read the reviews on these & bought them. They fit perfect, I’m a size 8 women, comfortable, swift & super cute! The media could not be loaded. I enjoy these skates so much I had to write another review. I want to point out that they will exhibit normal Wear and tear over time. I’m rough on my quads. I ended up ordering toe covering for the skate because I have started tearing the front toes up. This is my fault because of how I skate. When it comes to being durable it’s no different then a pair of sneakers. You can see the difference between the 2 photos I added. So plan ahead and get things that can produce your skates and yourself. People are complaining about the wheels being tight in the reviews. A simple adjustment with a socket wrench and the skates are fine. I added WD40 for a faster spin. Without padding in the bottom of the skates you will get blisters. So add padding. I picked up some from the dollar store and it works great. On nice days I will spend about 3 to 6 hours skating. I recommend them. If you’re a beginner take it slowly and get your balance for the outside elements. The wind will through you off balance. I have found that the gray pavement over is easer then the blacktop to skate on. I added a cut up hair tie to the skate to hold up the tongue. The skates are great and enjoyable. I"m in my 40's so you can enjoy them even when your older. I added a video of my one of tricks. I have been working on for about a month., me falling forward caused the front of the skate to tear, again this is my fault :) 👍 ... show more

These skates are super cute and great quality. I gave it five stars for that. But BE WARNED these wheels are slick! They work great. Too great if you’re used to blades that have the brake on the back. Twice I habitually put my heel down and (since the brakes are actually in front) my feet came out from under me and I came down hard...really hard... on my tailbone. Couldn’t walk for a day. I ended up returning them and getting rollerblades. But that’s just my preference. If you’re looking for great skates with front brakes, these are a great choice. If you’re new to front brakes, I highly recommend investing in some padded shorts while you learn. Happy skating!! ... show more

These are the exact skates I used to zip around on when I was a Sonic carhop. Asked for them for Mothers Day, even though I hadn’t skated in 8+ years. Got them. Strapped them on. Tried to skate down the sidewalk. Fell within 30 seconds and fractured my radius. Six weeks later, I took my kids to the skating rink and tried to start a little slower. Much better results. To tight not enough room for my toes, I’m a size ten and it felt like a size 9 very tight and uncomfortable. I would definitely order again but I’ll go a size larger than my regular size. Cute skates.
