Beautiful pad, very durable, love their products. I really like the wither relieve it gives, and the best part is the protection where the billets go through to the girth. OMG, they have sewn seams to keep them from moving. It is great, and the black material protects the pad from wear and tear. It is lovely. This is my 2nd Le Mieux pad and will definitely keep buying them. Well worth the price. My horse is 16.2 , bigger warmblood, I ordered a large. I wish it were a little longer, but he is so broad and big nothing really fits him "perfect" The color is beautiful on my grey guy. He has a matching silver/blue ice brow band. I really like this pad for my dressage saddle! It's soft and comfortable for my mare. My saddle is 17.5 and the pad is a perfect for it. Plus it matching the ear bonnet!!

I never was a fan of Le Mieux style. I just didn't like the small square pattern, and the feel of the pads. I had an old Blueberry set. I adored the color, but, I was willing to part with it when I sold a large part of my collection. I have a new job, and can afford pads again. Le Mieux was very smart to come out with the more upscale Loire Satin. While the aesthetic still isn't as beautiful as, say, PSOS, ES, Eskadron, or some other gorgeous brands like Kramer Equestrian's Felix Bühler lines, it's still pretty enough to not be disappointed with the look. The color, Bluebell, is merely the Blueberry but renamed. And, that color will always be gorgeous. Blue is my favorite color, and Bluebell is a deep blue/violet that will not disappoint. I got the fly veil/bonnet, and matching Brushing Boots to go with the pad. The Satin makes it shiny, which will allow it to pop more in photos!! ... show more

The pad fits nicely and I like the two velcro loops that fit on the saddle's D rings. I also appreciate the reinforced girthing area since that's where a lot of pads wear badly. But other than those features it's just another saddle pad.
