I got these in both dark blue and black. Like that it’s a 29 inch inseam as many companies start at 30 inches and I am short. The fabric is sturdy and a rich color. They are a good weight of fabric for all seasons. Recognizable brand name. Looks like they’ll last a long time. Not sure about the shrinkage as I haven’t washed them, but all indications point to that not being an issue My husband and I wear the same size and the 40 inch waist is comparable to a 20W woman’s size. These pants are very comfortable and an excellent fit for a tall person. The sizing seems accurate. I like there's a little stretch in the fabric and the boot cut works well with my cowboy boots. Also, they don't shrink up and they wear well. I didn't give them five stars is because the fabric on the rear pockets folds out along the top after washing. Once you put them on, they flatten out.
