Just arrived and installed. Very bright. I stuck them to an angled part of my 2014 F250 bed box which provided a nice angle over the bed floor. Ran straight from the battery with 2 fuses in sequence (a 15A at the battery and the 3A that came with the kit). I would consider myself decent at electrical wiring and mechanical work - and I found the install very easy. The LED lights are encased in a vinyl type plastic half tube so we will see how it weathers. I stuck the adhesive backed LED string to my bed liner and I’ll see how long that works as I don’t want to drill into my bed. The wires are very small, but appropriate for the load. The double casing over the wires is nice, but I thought the connectors were not very weather resistant, so I used shrink tube over them. I also used all weather butt connectors to extend the passengers side light as the wire in both was right around 48”, and it would not extend under the bed to the power source. I also put shrink tube over those for extra protection. The included push-button switch seems of decent quality and should be weather resistant. I mounted the switch in a corner of the bed that should be out of the weather when my tonneau cover is open. I did think it was odd it didn’t come with a little adhesive tape to mount the switch, but I used one of my many extra command hook pads, and that seems to work nicely. Overall I’m happy with this purchase given the cost to quality. 4 stars because I reserve 5 stars for perfect products that far exceed expectations. 4 stars to me is very good quality. It was very easy to install, just wish they would had little more wires added to it especially for the power button but luckily I had supplies for the install, I’ve even wired it up to my Cargo Light and I placed the Led lights underneath the lip of the bed so it wouldn’t be affected by the weather so hopefully they’ll last longer than the other reviews that I read. I also used rubbing alcohol on a good scrubbing rag underneath the lip of the bed so the Adhesive would stick without any dirt or oil on metal lip and it worked wonderful and I was very surprised how bright they were and it makes my bed of the truck pretty lit up so I say it was a great buy for myself. Durable & Bright, a well made product. I was a little worried with the tape as far as adhering and staying on. No worries - that 3m backside adhesive did it’s job. Since this was purchased, it went thru hot 90 + temps and -18 below temps. Pic attached was during after hours in the middle of nowhere (no ambient city lights or moonlight). Nice and bright!!! These things really lit up my truck bed. I have a tonneau cover over the bed and black spray-on bed liner. Looking in there at night was like looking into a black hole. The lights really make a huge difference. The adhesive seemed to hold well, but I heard that it may not stand up to summer heat with the spray-on bed liner. They provide 4 plastic retaining clips in case the adhesive doesn't work. I don't think that will be enough and I will likely have to order more. I found some clips that will do the job for less than $10, but you buy them by the 100. The retaining clips issue is costing the manufacture a star (only because I can't give them 4.5 stars). If they included 10-12 retaining clips, I would give them 5 stars. You will likely need to buy some additional wire and as well. I wanted my lights wired to my cargo lights which meant running the wire back to the cab. I'm guessing they anticipate the wires being connected to the tail lights because the positive and negative leads are pretty short. Overall I'm very pleased and would order them again. ... show more

I was a little skeptical because of the price, but I am very pleased with this purchase. The adhesive on the lights seems very strong and stuck very well. I made sure to clean the surface with some rubbing alcohol to remove any dirt/wax/grease etc. The lights stuck on no problem and hopefully they will continue to do so. As for the brightness, these lights are brighter than I thought they would be. I thought I may need a 3rd row of lights along the back cab area, but 2 strips of lights along each side of the bed is more than enough. ... show more
