This book has helped my son learn to talk, the colors, noises of the different animals, plus his sizes. There is a little switch that can teach in Spanish. It is very durable since it had taken a tumble down the steps many of times and is still working strong.

I'm a speech therapist and I bought this for my nephew as a Christmas gift. This book is AWESOME! It's very easy for kids to use and even I liked playing with it. The vocabulary is age-appropriate and has some niche words that help expand vocabulary too. Under each picture it has the word in English and Spanish (though Spanish word is in smaller text). I like how easy it is to switch to Spanish mode too. My nephew is being raised bilingual with English and Spanish, so his mom found this extra helpful! My 2 grandchildren enjoyed pressing buttons to hear different animal sounds and they learned fast to mimic the animal sounds. I really wanted to love this book but I sadly returned it . Age range is too wide to begin with . There’s too much going on per page and tiny hands were setting off multiple objects at once! The turtle overshadowed a lot of the objects intended to be displayed such as the banana/plate . I think the book is best suitable for older toddlers , the physical quality is great ! UPDATE : I personally wasn’t a fan of the book but my son enjoyed it , I ended up re purchasing and it’s really grown on me . He doesn’t seem to be confused if his hand hits the wrong object . I guess we should give these kids more credit , they know what’s going on and will eventually figure it all out ! ... show more

I gave this to my friend's 16 month old daughter for Valentine's Day and it was a big hit. She is fascinated with it and because her parents speak Spanish, this gives her the names and sounds and all the things it does, in both English and Spanish. She is learning both languages simultaneously, so this was a great gift for this little girl. I would recommend this Leapfrog book. I got her two of them. She loves animals, so I'll give her the animal book for Easter. They seem to be pretty sturdy and they are fun to look through, even for an adult. ... show more

Got this with my first baby and now introducing it to second baby. Somehow the batteries have lasted this long 😄 so far my babies have loved interacting with this and has helped encourage motor skills. Iv taken it with me on car ride to help entertain my first child. Sound quality is good. First born has used it from age 6 months to about 1 year and 3 months.
