These two sets I got are very soft! I got the twin xl, and they fit my 13in mattress perfectly. Since these fit up to a 15in, it works well. Keep in mind, I don't have any room left, so they may not fit a 15in mattress. It may also be because mine is a gel/foam filled mattress, so it may fit different to a spring or hard one. The fit is perfect for mine, so these work amazing! So far, I haven't done anything to them(I'll wash them after I'm done writing this review)(literally just got them and wanted to see if they fit first).     • Nice non-pilling soft sheets
I've washed them 4 times already and no pilling! They are soft and thin, which is great for when it's hot like now. I have a 10" mattress and 3" topper and it fits snug but bunches up in the middle after sleeping on it for a while. Elastic around it is not strong enough. I'll probably get the next size up and tuck it under so it won't move so much. No Pilling! ... show more

    • Use of twin size top sheet as a cross sheet
We used the top sheet only over an absorbent pad to mitigate bedwetting by an elderly person. It has yet to be challenged for this use. It's advantage is it's size. I fits across our queen sized bed and, if required, it can be taken off and washed with the pad much more easily than removing a fitted queen sized sheet. ... show more
