Purchased this boot to stand up to some heavy duty work processing wood. Needed something that would protect from glass, nails, wire and etc. that is found in the wood lot and from falling logs on the pile. The steel toe is positioned so you can’t feel it when walking. The boot is lighter than most work boots so helps to prevent fatigue. I have plantar fasciitis and have added an insert for this. I wear a size 13 and find these to be true to size. The biggest point for me in this type of footwear is the toe box. With a steel toe it needs to have ample space and these most definitely do. Available in a variety of colors and I picked the yellow accents. It looks trendy and easier to find in the kids pile of shoes. I will be getting the blue pair next as I’ll need a pair to keep clean for days I’m not processing wood. As I said I wear a 13 which is great for balance but some styles make your feet look like you are wearing clown shoes. This style actually makes your feet appear smaller. So I’ve hit on the amazing strength, feel and look of this boot now let’s talk price. The features in this boot are comparable to the boots I’ve purchased for much higher prices. I don't know if I missed it in the ad but they didn't come in The Shoe Box they came and shrink wrap clear Packaging which was not too bad at all there was no damage or scuffs to the outside of the shoes so I put them on as soon as I got them I've been wearing them for a few hours they are very very comfortable they look really really good so as long as they stay together money well spent ... show more

at first i thought these were going to be a great deal. im a tech and a stage hand so i spend a lot of time building stages and flippin' decks, driving a fork, dealing with cases and rolling heavy racks of equipment.. they are comfortable enough. after 2 weeks i pulled back to tighten my laces and two of the top eyelets popped off. had to learn to tie them tightly without them. week 4, lost two more of the top eyelets on the other shoe, which means i had to tie around the shoe around my ankle, which defeated the purpose but by this point it was too late to return them. after about month 4, I had to buy some additional inserts because my feet started to hurt. Maybe im just too hard on my shoes. Before these I bought some Redwings in the store and they were the most perfect work boot I have ever worn, but they also cost 3x more than these. IM a baller on a budget. I need to get the work done. So fast forward to around 18 to 20 months, the rubber on the bottom started doing and splitting began to happen around the toe. eventually the souls ripped and anytiem I went near water, my feet got soaked.. The steel toe dislodged itself at 2 years and started crushing my toes and making it dangerous. So here I am, needing a new pair. is 2 years a good length of time? Im not sure. These boots are awesome, I have worn them in the snow, and rain, my socks don't get wet plus there lite weight and durable. Bottom line for the money I spent, great win.

    • They messed up my ankle

I kept thinking that something was wrong with me and I had injured myself and there was a problem or I had suddenly had an onset of arthritis or something. The truth is no. Was these boots and I decided okay? I won't wear them to work anymore. I'll just wear them to shovel snow. Even if you wear these boots for 30 minutes they cause like irreparable damage to my left ankle and I don't know why but they messed up my feet and I'm to the point now where I'm not even going to return them because took me forever to realize that it was them and not my actual self. That was the problem. So I would not suggest you buy these boots. They are great in the cold but what they're doing to my freaking feet is not worth it ... show more

    • Good boots!
Great shoes, but they cut into my ankle a bit on my right side. Very sturdy, good grip. I do delivery's out of a big truck and the metal door that drops can get very slippery. These have helped prevent injury. The Steel toe is also fantastic. No more hopping around cause a heavy box clipped my toe!
