I am honestly amazed at what this has done for my plants. None of them had been dying without it, but I wouldn't call them thriving, either. The ones needing a lot of light seemed happy but leggy, and the rest were just living mediocre lives. With this light? I'm getting variegation in leaves, my leggy succulents are making happy, chubby, non-etiolated babies, the thanksgiving cactus I rescued a couple of years ago is bursting with new leaves after doing absolutely nothing previously, and my jade plant has leaves so plump and rich looking.. I didn't even know it could look like that. In a number of the unhappy reviews I've seen for these lights, I have to wonder if the people read and paid attention to the directions on how far plants need to be from the lights. They are very specific about it, and give pretty detailed information in the package. Low, medium and high light plants need to be placed differently, and placement will also depend on whether you bought the large light or the smaller light. This light puts out no heat whatsoever. I pretty much sit beneath it in the evenings, and I cannot feel it at all. In addition, I have health issues involving my eyes that make a lot of bright lights problematic for me, and I am unbothered by this. No halos, starbursts or “sparks” in my vision from it. I’m very happy with this, and I’m trying to sort out the room it’s in so that I can add some more. I think I can finally get that jungle room I’ve always wanted! ... show more

I love this light. It is bright and my plant baby is already so happy. My gripe comes with the terribly cheap hardware. The ceiling and wall mount screws stripped out instantly. My light fell. I had to find some extra braces and screws that fit. These things are so terrible. I am glad it is all hanging now... but when you spend this much on a light, it should have good hardware. ... show more

I purchased 2 large Aspect lights and they are as awesome as the reviews say- I will likely buy more in the future. One of the lights was missing the swag hook that the light hangs from, so I used a small hook I had (not nearly as classy, I will say). I contacted the company and heard back from them within 2 hours. (??) They instantly sent a replacement hook. Yup. Can’t believe it. Best customer service I have ever had. Wanted a grow light in my living room that doesn’t look like a shop light. I’m in a basement with very little light and love plants and have never found a solution. This is the solution to liven up my corner with beautiful healthy plants! Super easy to install, the light and hardware included are a quality I have not seen in a grow light. I really like this light, I have not had it long but it has a nice glow to it for a cozy room and seems to provide ample light for my plants. Zone 5 winters can be rough on my tropical plants so I am waiting to see if the light truly helps, but setup was easy (some people complained about the mounting, it took me and one other person about 20 minutes max) and like I said it is sleek and appealing. Bit pricey but I didn't want cheap junk that would break anyway (as I have spent more than what this light costs replacing cheap, inefficient and ugly grow lamps) ... show more

I had been looking for something like this grow light for a while, so I was thrilled when I came across it on Amazon. It looks great, and works even better. It's nice this company realizes that most of us keep our houseplants in our living rooms and family rooms and want something that not only works well, but looks great too! Everything I've seen prior to this has been too industrial looking, and certainly not designed to look good in our homes. Not only does it look great, my plants seem to love it. The first one I received wasn't working, and they responded quickly to my email (on a Monday holiday when everything was closed), and sent a brand new one within days. The replacement works great, and I am planning on getting at least another two for other areas of my house. The included timer is a nice bonus as once it's set up, you really don't even have to think about it any more.
