I ordered this dress after reading the reviews. Thanks to all the great information in previous reviews I ordered a size 2X. Old lady body with a stomach. 5ft 1 inch 212lbs and it fit perfectly. A wee bit snug in the armholes when reaching or throwing a tennis ball for the dogs but nothing serious. I love the way the dress has darting that keeps the wearer from flashing underwear or whatever is under the dress. I will be ordering more colors. I bought the blue and it is lightweight but not see through. I'm not sure why someone complained it wouldn't keep them warm if they wore it in winter with leggings......it is definitely not meant to be a winter dress but could easily do 3 seasons here in the northeast. Pockets are wonderfully roomy with no fear of my phone falling out. Already wore it to chemo and got many compliments! ... show more

I could smuggle a buffet into the movies wearing this thing, so I would order a size down, but it is cute. The waist is wide, but the shoulders and arms aren't too oversized, so I would say order just 1 size down. The material feels like it really is linen (I've ordered things that claim something in the listing that doesn't match the tag), and it is decent quality. The buttons fit in their holes/loops. The fabric has enough hand to it that it doesn't stretch out when you put a phone in the pockets like some dresses do. It is a lightweight fabric without being too thin. It isn't as soft as a jersey knit, but it is still comfortable on sensitive skin. I'm dead average height, ordered according to my size, and it ends near the bottom of my knees, so it shouldn't be indecent if you're tall. Overall I really like the dress and will be ordering another in a size down. EDIT: Having ordered two in different sizes, I would say that you should actually order according to your size unless you're unsure of which size to pic, in which case order a size down. Ordering a size down, I could definitely still wear the dress and I liked the overall look of it better, but it is a bit tight getting it off and on just because its tighter around the arms. It's still oversized and cute, but if I ordered again I would order true to my size once again. ... show more

I love the material, and style. Love the pockets. I love things really big. I am 71, 5’4” and weigh 180. The extra large is usually my go-to size and I’m happy to say this dress seems a little large. But I’m going to keep it anyway and purchase another one in a large. 😍

Wow, I really love this tunic. I got the green- it’s a really nice shade, not too green. Sometimes I like to size up with garments like this, but I didn’t do that with this one. It’s definitely true to size and loose the way it is in the photo. If I had sized up it would’ve been way too big.
