Lansinoh pads have three layers: An absorbent core made with natural fibers for fast absorption and drying, and a waterproof outer layer with a small purple heart tag. These reusable breast pads are machine washable. These nursing pads reusable nature means that you can save money and be more sustainable in the long run. Each box of washable nursing pads for breastfeeding moms comes with eight individual washable breast pads (four pairs) and a laundry bag. Lansinoh has been helping moms and babies get a good start to their new lives for over 35 years. These are great breast pads. I've had no leaking issues and they are the softest breast pads I've tried. I tried a lot of breast pads and was having a significant issues with feeling uncomfortable due to the pads I tried before these irritating my nipples. Of note my nipples were very tender because my son was a preemie and his mouth was a bit too small for my nipples so needless to say I had a lot of nipple damage at the beginning and I also have Reynaud's of the nipples which causes pain in cold environments and make them more tender. My nipples are extremely sensitive and these are the only pads I've been able to wear. I have baught multiple sets and would recommend them. The only thing I've noticed is the stitching on the inside is coming out a bit. None of the stitching has fully come out so I can't say what happens when it does or speak to their overall longevity (I've only been using them for about 3 months and have about 12 I rotate through). Also I always hand wash them and hang them up (it doesn't take much time) so I can't speak to how well the hold up to a washer and dryer. ... show more

These nursing pads are great! I leak a lot and these always catch my drips when I have them on. I don't have to worry about accidentally leaving them in my bra when I wash it, unlike the disposable pads (they will explode and leave gel residue all over your clothes) because they get washed also! I can use these for a few days before they get crusty and stinky and then I wash my pumping/nursing bra with them. I have Kindred Bravery’s and another brand’s reusable nursing pads. I had to look for an alternative to KB because I was going through 3 sets a day (during the beginning when my milk came in at day 3) and I was leaking throughout the night. I had to take a chance and I got these. They were able to last through the night (leak proof) and still felt dry when I woke up in the morning. They are so soft against my skin. It is so worth it. I only wish I bought more. These are the ones to get! ... show more

I leak a lot during the night and I use these with a nursing bra, and the absorbency is quality. They stay in place and don’t leak. They also capture all of the liquid without feeling like it’s sitting on your skin. I would buy more.

I have previous experience with the one time use pads and round cotton reusable pads. I would say these are better than my cotton ones but it has its disappointments. PROS - the material is soft and I don't notice them in my bra - they absorb better than the cotton ones did. My cotton ones would fill up quick and bleed through my bra and make me feel wet. These took a lot more milk before that happened. - the shape, I feel, is better then the round reusable ones. It helped keep it positioned better in my bra. CONS - why do all the reusable ones seem so small!!! I really wish they covered more area like the throw aways do. This being my second child I am more engorged and grew a few sizes so I wished I could get a larger size so they are easier to position and keep in place. These are slightly bigger than my cotton round ones but just wish they could make them a bit larger for the larger sized ladies. Although I don't buy them the throw aways anymore, I do see why they are more convenient. They seem to absorb a little more, have more surface area, and stay in place longer. But all in all I still like these and will use them as a substitute so I don't have to constantly buy and throw away pads. ... show more

I'm a new mom and I was using disposable nursing pads at first, but I hated how they felt as they absorbed leaks. I also hated how quick I was running through them in order to feel dry. I switched to these reusable ones, and they work great. They're very absorbent (I've only leaked through once when the pad wasn't quite centered in the cup), stay in place remarkably well, and feel so comfortable I forget I'm wearing them.
