I used to be faithful to the original formula of Glossier's Balm Dot Com, but after they changed it, Lanolips became my new favorite. It is so good. It's so thick, it lasts forever and is so moisturizing. I can put it on before bed, sleep 12hrs, and wake up with it still on my lips. I rarely have to reapply, maybe only about 2-3 times during the day. I love to layer it on thick, that way my lips are super glossy. I saw that Glossier is now changing their Balm Dot Com back to the original formula after much demand, but Lanolips is so amazing that I'm not going back. With Glossier's vegan formula, one of the ingredients that was removed was lanolin. Lanolips is 100% pure lanolin, so its 100% just pure good stuff. It's 1000x better. Even with Glossier's OG formula, it was only *some* lanolin. I love products that are just a few ingredients. I am now forever loyal to Lanolips and won't use anything else. Upon getting it was still cold winter time where I live so it was hard to squeeze out immediately but with a small like rub of the tube in my hands it was perfectly fine so no worries if yours is initially difficult to squeeze out! After that it’s been no problem. Whenever my lips are irritated my go to is lanolips for the day and I’ve also chosen lanolips over laneige lip mask overnight when I really felt like I needed extra care. Definitely buying more! These lip balms have a scent but not an added taste- so it’s straight up like ointment taste. I was initially hesitant to purchase this balm due to the price, but wow, I am so happy I finally did. It has exceeded my expectations! The closest thing I can compare it to is Aquaphor but even more buttery and luxurious! I got the RASPBERRY SHORTCAKE flavor, and it’s so yummy. I like the formula, and the way it looks on. No complaints there! The smell is the issue. Kinda reminds me of the smell of Neosporin mixed with maple? It’s not the worst, but definitely not what I was expecting. I’ll use up the tube but I won’t be replacing it.

Bought the Lanolips Coconutter and love it! I didn’t notice any kind of taste, but the smell is subtle and really nice and like coconut and the tropics! Most importantly the feel is amazing! I have been using a different brand that has been discontinued so wanted to find another Lanolin based lip gloss for around the house and before bed. This is perfect! Love the coconutter one. It feels great on the lips and is super soothing. Not an overwhelming coconut scent-its very light more like a subtle hint- and no coconut flavor. But why is it already half empty when I first open it? I understand you can't fill these tubes up all the way, but it should be a bit more than half full at least. It's disappointing that they don't give you more product for this price point.
