Case seems like it will work well for drops, though I haven't dropped my phone in it yet. The waterproof side works pretty well. It fell out of my pocket while snorkelling in the ocean and I kicked it behind myself sending it to the sea floor 10 feet down or so. I basically lost it in the ocean. After 10 minutes or so of snorkeling around the areas I was in, I managed to find it on the sea floor and recovered it... and it was fine. Not a scratch on it and still on without any changes. Later I rinsed off my phone and removed the case, and though some of the seals were definitely holding water, none seemed to really get on the phone. This phone case actually also comes with a lanyard, so after losing it once, I tied the lanyard on an accessory loop on my bathing suit, and I didn't lose it again. I also was able to get some neat photos and videos of fish and turtles under water with the phone case. But keep in mind that the touch sensitivity of the phone screen doesn't really work under water or when wet (or the fingerprint reader). So use your hardware buttons to take the photos! ... show more

The tabs over the charging port, s pen, and headphone port do wear out and come off. After that, its not waterproof. It is great for protections from drops! The biggest downside is if you're out in the heat (paddleboarding, hiking, etc) your phone will overheat. Otherwise, it is great. Super easy to install and overall pretty durable. The product came in a quality box with protective plastic molding around it. Very simple to install, just clean your phone and make sure no dust is present anywhere on the surfaces. Just put your phone in face down and snap the back onto the front and make sure a good seal all around (no gaps) and you are done. I like the water proof capabilities of the case. It saved me from several incidents. The major and only draw back is the low sound quality when on a phone call. I find myself saving to remove the case at this just to finish a conversation.

First, the product appeared like it was a return that was rushed back out. There is a front piece and a back piece that encases the phone in clear hard uneven distorted clear plastic case with LARGE and small moveable bubbles in it. It must be two pieces of plastic stuck together. Maybe I am supposed to peel off some protective layer? Doesn't seem like it and instructions do not say. Plus I didn't want to take a chance of destroying it since it is being returned. It is just too pricey to be so poorly made. Also the semi-hard plastic doesn't seem designed correctly.
