My go to towel for everyday. It is the perfect size, feel, and absorbs water well. It is starting to fall apart after a year. There are strings and the seam has fallen apart. So they aren’t so pretty to look at anymore.

I love these towels. They wash up great. They don’t leave like little strings I mean for you know not super expensive towels but for my budget and they look nice like a hotel a nice hotel towel but it’s not a stick but they’re great they absorb they wash up really good and they don’t have that crappy look when you wash it and it kinda just looks stingy and they look nice. I got the dark gray, they’re really soft and it dries quickly. If you add fabric softener, it makes it even softer or just bounce or any fabric software of your choice. First, I love the Sea Port color...it's brighter and more saturated in person than what the graphic shows online. However, these towels are thin, like WalMart basics. Upon first wash/dry, much lint accumulated in the dryer vent filter. True to their word, they did not twist, but there are many frays/snags across the face of the towel and loose threads on the perimeter stitching. They will do in the guest bathroom, which is seldom used, but I wouldn't buy for regular home use. ... show more

Don't be dismayed when they arrive....the package was all 'sucked' free of air so at first I thought, 'Oh, no! Cheap towels!' But I ran them through the wash cycles and then dried them and they went through a marvelous transformation! I would definitely purchase these again! What I paid for the set is what I would have paid at Fred Meyers for 3 towels. There were 2 snags, but they didn't develop into anything; I just left them alone and by the second wash cycle they reincorporated into the towel. ... show more

There were so many positive reviews, even though there were a number of bad reviews, I ordered them anyway. Please pay attention to the bad reviews-they are accurate. When I got these towels I instantly washed them by themselves in cold water, with a very small amount of soap. My result was the same as so many others. My hand towel and washcloth came out just fine. My bath towel came out with threads hanging loose and one seam completely undone. I contacted Amazon who replied that I had to deal with the company. So I sent a message to the company, no reply. Then I got a second response from Amazon-was my issue resolved. No! No reply from Amazon. I then sent a second message to the company. No reply. Then came the second message from Amazon-was my issue resolved? No! No response from either amazon or Lane Linen. Obviously I am not going to get any help resolving the issue, and I am left with a nice brand new "junk towel." I have shopped for a replacement towel, and at least now I know enough to avoid Lane Linen. Yes, this is a very long review, but if it keeps one person from buying anything from Lane Linen, it's worth it. UPDATE: I just washed my towels for the second time. I now have a nice large gray rag.
