I wanted to add a honest review so that others could know what this product is really like. It’s not bad. The aquarium came very well packaged and undamaged. It arrived just as scheduled. It sits inside of styrofoam and is double boxed and wrapped once with bubble wrap. I’m not sure how effective the once wrapped bubble wrap is but the styrofoam and double box will provide extra safety. Should survive the shipping process just fine! Mine arrived perfectly! I’m very pleased with the clarity of the glass, but I am a little concerned with the quality of the silicone that it’s attached with. I immediately noticed that the glass moves slightly in the corners when pressed on. I haven’t noticed this with the aquariums I have purchased in the past but they weren’t rimless, so maybe that’s why it moves a little? given the price I paid, I am hoping it will continue to hold water! The edges do line ip niceley. The size is in the description is accurate. I’ve had issues with that before so I was very pleased to see that it was the size described. I think it will provide a good home and upgrade for my current aquarium inhabitants. I do enjoy how modern it looks with no rims. Just like the aquariums I saw in the aquascaping videos I watched on YouTube. The logo “Landen” is plastic and is glued onto the glass. Not a fan. I feel that it distracts from the aquarium but I turned it around to where it’s on the back. I’m sure it could be peeled off/ removed if desired. I will update if I have any issues. I’ve built a fresh nano planted tank using this. The landen decal on the front can be peeled off with a razor blade (sorry guys, it took away from the asthetic). I will definitely be purchasing a Landen tank for all future purchases. The clarity of this 7.1 gallon puts my other 7 tanks to shame. Packaging: The box came a little dinged up, but the padding was phenomenal and I believe the box could have been dropped without damaging the tank. ... show more

This is my second Landen aquarium purchase (I've had the 60P (??) 17.1 gallon since August 2018) and the 45P has the same quality build. Clean silicone lines and clear glass. The logo appears to be a sticker, but its small and has a chrome reflection which blends in with dark substrates. The shipment was packed nicely. The Landen box is labeled fragile and inside an Amazon box. It contains 8 styrofoam corner protectors on the tank. The foam mat is inside the tank. My only comment is that Amazon should label their box fragile. I expect this one to last just like my first purchase and I'm looking forward to buying another Landen aquarium in the near future. ... show more

After having a replacement tank for nearly 10 months, I can say with confidence this is a really nice set-up. The vendor quickly addressed the issue the first go around and the tank;s integrity has proven itself over time to remain intact and no leaks. Looks great. I would buy another. Pretty bummed. Tank arrived intact. i inspected all seams. Looked good. Set-up aquascape thinking I didn't need to test given reviews and positive appearance. Big mistake. Now I have a mess to deal with. I bought two of these tanks and the quality of them in just amazing. They look the same as the ADA ones which cost a fair amount more. If you search YouTube for James Findley at The Green Machine you will see some ADA tank setups that are amazing. I love the look of this tank so much that I actually made room for it on my desk in my home office. Please note that the tank is 100% clear. I added some privacy film to help hide the cords and the hang-on-back filter. I did have a small issue with the shipping (no fault of the seller) and the seller took time from their vacation weekend to help sort it out. That is a stand up person and one I will do business with again. That is actually more important to me than anything else and the reason I gladly gave 5 stars. My attached photo was taken with an iPhone at 9:00am (using Finnex 24/7 lighting that auto adjusts). No photoshopping was done. The tank has only been setup for about a week so there is a lot of growing in yet to do for the plants. I will try to come back in a few months with an updated photo of this tank. This is my new favorite brand of aquariums. They are affordable and beautiful and well made. I will most definitely be sticking with Landen for future aquarium purchases. Looks very similar to more expensive tanks for much less.

Beautiful tank, had a local glass co. Cut a 1/4 inch thick glass cover for it so my Betta “LUCA” doesn’t jump out, it also reduces evaporation of water

Wanted the ADA look but on a budget and this fits the bill. The item came in manufacturer box from china packed inside an Amazon box with little padding but it made it in one piece and no leaks/cracks. There is a branding sticker which was large but was able to scrape it off for clean look. Using as lowtech planted shrimp tank and am so lucky the 10 gallon sold out as the 17 gallon is just right size in living room.. not crazy big but enough to see ecosystem without putting your face against the glass.
