If you do no big deal it works fine but I took the orange tip off the barrel to put a tracer unit on the threads and at some point during my moving or during use the front plate came off. the magazine that it comes with is OKAY at best. Spend the money on the Lancer mags - 100% worth the upgrade. This is a great rifle. Took about 10 minutes to dial it in with an EOTech-style optic. After that, it was super accurate and consistent.

Buddy has a few acres of land. Bought this and took it out. Accuracy was pretty good for what I use it for. .2 Bbs work good with it. It can go fully auto and still be pretty good. I personally like to do single fire or burst. It can hurt at close range. I did saw a monster can in half with it. Also was great for shooting Wasp nest! It can be a pain putting the battery in. The stock requires you to remove 2 separate pieces. And you also need to play with the wires to get it in properly to put stock back in. Also charge last a good amount of time when not active. Only problem we had... the feeding. The mag will not empty completely. We also had to "fix" where the bb's feed from the magazine. Had to melt the little plastic part and reshape it. Had a double feed or fail to feed. After fix it was great again! ... show more

This gun is awful.. I bought this for my son for his birthday. He was super excited as this was his first "higher quality" full auto rifle. The build seem solid, but it doesn't work! First one we got shot one bb then that was it. So we returned it (which my 9 yr old already wasnt thrilled about obviously) and they sent us a new one. Well this one shoots a few then stops working. So now we have to return this one. Poor kid has to wait even longer now for birthday present. I'm guessing it's a bad mag design the way the bbs get fed and could possibly be fixed by getting a better magazine. But after paying $179.99 for the gun I'm not going to purchase an after market mag just to get the gun to function. I just can't believe an almost $200 gun can't even shoot through a whole mag. So needless to say, we will be returning and buying a different brand. Very very unhappy ... show more

Everyone has something bad to say about lancer tactical and I was nervous at first to see if they were right, but they were not! This has been absolutely amazing for the last few months I’ve owned it. It is easily customizable with optics or grips and it shoots about 340 fps even after many months of usage.
