I'm a big dude but regular clothes in 2x-3x range fit without issue most of the times. In this case I went with a 4x size based upon the measures listed in the description. It's unfortunate that the size is at the bottom of the range they list for 4x across the board. Even worse, the dimensions on the Belts are not matched to the size of the clothes. However, for the price of the costume, you get a lot of textured cloth and accessories that has a good 'look' from far away. The cloth of the robe is thinly woven and a bit scratchy, but it actually looks pretty good as long as you do some thread trimming. The weird way the shawl accessories are put in (instead of being connected for the back they just drape two sets over the shoulder so prepare to pin in place) and the lack of instructions make it difficult to get the costume done correctly without referring to the Amazon images. However, the fabric does look good and it does have texturing that makes it match well with movie images of Jedi/Obi-Wan. The included belt set looks really good for a costume belt, it would be nice if they attached the sash to the belt isntead of having them both loose. As I mentioned before, the belt is definetly not sized correctly on the 4x size. However the snaps and attachments look pretty nice for pleather. The hooded cloak that's included looks good and wears easily. While it's more of a 'cape' than a hooded robe it actually looks pretty decently without being heavy weight. ... show more

Let's be honest - costumes at this price point tend to be thing and cheaply made. I was actually very pleased with this costume; it isn't super thick and heavy, but it feels nice and surprisingly durable. Style wise it is on point. Is it movie replica quality in any way? Nope, but if that's what you're looking for then this is 50-90% less than you should expect to pay. It looks great, is light enough to wear other clothes under but still feels heavy enough to hold up to actually being worn. If you can't figure how to drape belts over your shoulder then maybe a costume like this is above your skill level - there's no instructions to show you how to do so. Just look at the reviews with pictures and you'll see how it goes. I'll even add pictures with mine once Halloween comes and I have the whole thing on at once. Fits well, but runs a bit large.     • The two Belts are inconsistent sizes

I saw reviews about it being “cheap” because it’s thin. But I find that to be a place because it’s a lot of layers and it helps keep you cool I was kind of over heating in 70° Pants fit great the robe took a bit of time to figure out and place since nothing holds them in place. The bottom fabric belt fits perfectly but the outer is too big! Like by two inches. Just for it to be snug on me it’s already overlap and past the Velcro. So will need to add more to it. Weird that the two would be different sizes. I was hoping the robes would take up the slack but don’t. Also lots of loose threads on all pieces. Also don’t really care for the strings on the hood I want to cut the threading but worried it will mess up the stitches for the rest of the hood. so I will probably just cut them flush as possible. ... show more

Wont lie, even with the reviews I was skeptical about the quality, but for 60 bucks I figured it would survive Halloween. Well then the it arrived (Not packed just in a giant ziplock bag) I was surprised at how heavy the the bag was. Everything is thick material except for the cloak and pants. I'm good with the thin cloak and the thin extremely baggy pants should help keep me cool. Now when I say the pants are baggy I could get two legs in one pant leg! I don't think they are supposed to be that baggy but they fit in the waist and the total look is excellent. Very Impressed. ... show more

I have been looking for a good jedi outfit for a while. And this one is really good! Great material, very nice quality and the pieces are separate so you can have on what you want. I however made a mistake in getting a size up from what I actually am. It was really big and way to flowing so everything dragged. Had to modify it to make it fit better. The thing was challenging to get on so immediately ask for assistance. I love the material of the costume though, It feels like I got what I paid for.
