After looking at a LOT of toy cash registers, I chose this one -- and was very happy with it. I happened to "find" it on Amazon. It cost considerably more than the other registers I was looking at, but liked the quality, so ordered it. I was VERY disappointed to find the exact same register in a catalog a week later that was less than 1/2 the price I paid on Amazon. Sooo this register is the neatest. It’s sturdy & the numbers on screen look just like the calculator font. Very realistic. It came with $1’s, $5’s, $10’s, $20’s and a credit card. My 5 year twins absolutely love it! I catch them playing with it constantly!

This is made of very thick plastic. Money that came with it is also nice and thick. Easy to open and close and like that it has a real working calculator!

    • A calculator, NOT a cash register!
This is not a cash register, this is a calculator. So when your child ads up the purchases, he has to remember that total, then subtract that from whatever you pretend to give them to pay. Since when is that how cash registers work? Well made, but NOT a real cash register!
