You can bring a hat or garland or tie a headband to cover it, that will be better. You can pull little hair out around the hairline and pull other hair back and over the wig and pin it into place, then it will be looks very natural. Wig Clean and Care: 1. Put the mermaid wig in cold or warm water for 5 to 10 minutes( no hot water), the time can't be too long, otherwise the hair will be fall off easily. 2. Hand-wash(Not suitable to use the washing machine). 3. Choose 2-in-1 shampoo, just use the hand grasp the light blue mermaid wig gently. 4. Use a dry towel to wipe the water on the wig, never screwed by hand or by a washing machine. 5. Dry by the air, avoid drying in sunshine. 6. Our mermaid wig can't be dyed. Hair cream rinses can't be washed inside the wig cap.

It stays in place because it has a attached hair comb in the front unlike the others. The hair is beautiful and soft. Silky and shiny and combs out beautifully. People asked to touch it and people frequently asked where I bought it. One woman asked if she could have it after Halloween. This long wig has great length and color – matches pics mostly! However, material feels synthetic and looks slightly cheap up close. I was super skeptical about buying this wig because it's so cheap but I am thoroughly impressed! The color is awesome and this looks and feels like hair. My only complaint is the hairline is really noticeable but that's easily fixed with a headband so not a deal breaker. Overall I would say this wig is worth the purchase. I love it! ... show more

I have bought at least 10 wigs off Amazon and have been really impressed most of the time by the quality of the heat resistant synthetic ones. This one is definitely up there as one of my favorites, as the color and cut and believability is all there. My only complaints are how the wig fits a little snug with clips making it feel tight and restrictive after 2 hours and my head size is definitely average and I've never encountered this issue before. I wish it was front lace for the most natural look but for the price range, it's still a wonderful one. I throw on head bands and scarves all the time. It does start to tangle after few wears but I use cream to defrizz and manage can't straighten these curls but it comes very natural and why would you want to change style here anyhow? Right out of the package the ombre brown to ash blond was beautiful , I used the front of my hair to make it more realistic.Also the packaging was secure and reusable I think, to store the wig. Wig is Perfect for my costume but so real looking one could wear every day. ! Love it ! You must use a wide tooth comb or comb with your fingers not a brush to keep the curls. I’ve heard one should wash in basin with a soft shampoo… then use fabric soften. Rinse and press between two towels to get excess water out then air dry overnight… shake and curls stay that way. Good quality for the price; far better than most "costume" wigs. Not too tangly, nice texture. Nice and full; cannot see the fabric underneath. No shedding.
