If you're expecting these to be as thick as the more expensive ones from the hardware store, you might be disappointing. They're definitely thinner and lighter. That said, they're perfectly sturdy, do the job, and hold up fine. They also have handy little hooks for keeping the fence in place, which I really like. When we were pounding these posts in, if we hit a rock, it would bend and collapse. We needed 1/4” screws to be strong enough to hold the signs. The holes needed drilling.

The price is about a dollar or less then the ones I bought at home depot but are no where near the quality, weight, or strength. If you need to move one forget it. They bend if you try to adjust or pull up to reset. I would return if hadn’t already set several before buying the locally sold high strength ones. ... show more
