    • Well Made and quite useful
We were looking for versitile backdrop and goal so our HS LAX player has something to throw at, while also not having to chase balls all over the yard. There are numerous similar style models available. But after finding reviews on this Lacroose Scoop in numerous (non amazon) sites, I opted for this. Glad we picked it up. Its being used every day. Pros: - metal pipes are heavy duty (they seem powder coated, so longetivity is not yet known) - has a carrying bag, though we leave it up 24x7 - the netting seems strongs (but will it last?) - it seems sturdy and strong - having sides and above the goal netting is fantastic Cons: - the ground stakes to hold it down are a little weak. You may want to use camping stakes or put a bag of sand on the back - the netting is strong but small ropes - worried about longevity - the little cut out man is a bit hokey looking, we dont even use it I would recommed it. I would buy it again. it took a solid 30 mintutes the first time to put together. and it does go quicker with two people ... show more

We had this for about a year. My child just recently started to use it again due to the cancellation of games and the long winter. One night, the wind blew it down head on( from the front). One of the corner pieces holding the bottom and the goal bended. ( first picture) And the other corner piece was also deformed. ( second picture) Now, the goal is useless. Very disappointed about its quality. Follow up: The seller was contacted. He promptly responded and took care of the problem. I'd recommend this seller! ... show more

My son loves it. Has stopped many balls from going into the woods by our house. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is it is already missing some straps. If he hit the bar going across the top the strap breaks off.

    • I don’t think I would move it to many times.
My Son loves it and has been playing with it constantly. We did intend on him taking around with us camping. It does have a bag to carry it but unless you are really quick it is a bit complicated to disassemble and move around.it would also be heavy and bulky. It is most likely going to be the winter storage bag! Right now we are just leaving it up. Other than that is great for a single player. The net cover is removable so that 2 players can use it. The large side nets keep the balls from flying out past the sides so they can actually play and not chase the ball around. ... show more

Very nice, well made, but takes a while to assemble, so if your lookimg for portable, this isnt really recommended - even though ot did come with a bag. The side temd to flex back a little, but works great for practicing lacrosse. The thing is big enough and solid enough they the stakes that are provided are basically worthless. They are not really needed, but in a wimd storm it can (and has) blowm over. ... show more

Perfect for anyone who wants to focus on shooting not chasing the balls!!! Durable and light weight, but just a bit bulky to move on your own with the side backstops still connected when pushing it back into place after mowing the grass but easy enough with a set of helping hands..

It has stayed together for about a month or so now. My son is 5 and shoots on the goal and it holds up. It is not as heavy as a game goal, but it does the job.
