    • basic bride on a budget veil with a small little tiara
This is a basic Bridal Veil and Tiara set. It is rather misleading as the title states “lace” and there’s no lace whatsoever about this thing. How can they call it a lace bridal veil without the lace? For a veil, it’s on the short side and probably would come down to the shoulders. It has a light hem and gathered at the top with a basic plastic comb that’s sewn to hold it together. They could have done a better job and trimmed off the loose threads. Some people see a loose thread and have to pull it. I would hate to have this fall off because of that and the threads are just long enough to do that. The veil probably could use a light ironing. However, you take your chances on scorching it. If it’s just playtime or for a costume, I wouldn’t worry about that. But if it’s a bride on a budget, consider it carefully. The tiara is rather small and looks smaller to me than the pictures. The rhinestones are on the smaller side as well. It does sparkle but only under high intensity lights and then I've seen better examples. This won’t sparkle under soft lighting. I can see a bride wearing the veil but not the tiara that comes with it. The tiara piece really just looks rather tawdry and that's giving it credit. As far as the two-piece set, you need to decide how to wear it. Both attach to the hair by combs. If the veil is worn behind, no problem. If the veil goes to the front, that’s a problem as the tiara is now covered up. ... show more

The veil is well made and delicate. The tiara is also delicate but has an expensive and luxury appearance. I ordered this to us as a decorative accent and it looks great among my other decor items.
