Like so many others I was using the Beach Body shakes to try and supplement one meal a day for weight loss but I hated the hefty price tag. So, I stopped using it all together and entered into my forties where metabolism became a thing of the past. So fast forward to 10 pounds later and a fair amount of research, I decided to give this product a try. I chose the CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER. Let’s be honest, these things don’t really taste like a milkshake. They all leave a little bit of an aftertaste and they’re much better when you add REAL food items to it whether it be bananas, strawberries or a scoop of real peanut butter -don’t bother with the flavored powders it’ll only going to enhance the funkiness. Basically if you’re looking for something that tastes like an actual milkshake this isn’t it and best of luck finding one that isn't loaded with sugars! I mix mine with low calorie oat milk and ice. Without the ice it’s really thick and doesn’t go down as well (in my opinion). As far as suppressing my appetite it works! I don’t feel the need to snack and I’m a habitual snacker, which of course is the bane of my existence and the entire reason I need to skip a meal. I have to psych myself up to sub my lunch for a shake Every. Single. Day. “Yay! ANOTHER shake.” But...it’s all about sacrifices and reasonable expectations. As far as the shake itself goes, this thing is excellent. I blend with water and a blender bottle. 2 scoops with about 12 oz of water is my sweet spot. I've had this everyday for lunch with a small side (fruit or veggies or granola, etc...) and it keeps me full until dinner. Energy levels haven't wavered and I've yet to get sick of the taste given the multiple flavors. They're also great mixed with a banana. Another thing I enjoy is mixing in a tablespoon or two of a certain low cal peanut butter powder also available on Amazon. It takes the flavor up a notch and still keeps the calories quite low. -- 04/19/2019 edit-- DO NOT order the Salted Caramel flavor. Let me start by saying that I LOVE Labrada Lean Body Meal Replacement shakes. They were an integral part of my diet and helped me lose just shy of 70 lbs, which I have kept off for 3 years. That said, Salted Caramel is the far and away the worst flavor I have tried. If this is your first time ordering a Labrada shake I would strongly suggest you stick with the standard chocolate, or chocolate peanut butter if that's more your thing. As a candy, I find salted caramel delicious. As a protein shake I am forcing myself to finish the bottle. Ok, so I'm new to the whole meal replacement shake thing and I was a little skeptical. I was diagnosed with diabetes and I need to get some weight off. My doctor talked to me about shakes. She had a line that she carries in her office for $60 a tub. I've tried one or two samples of it and it's like drinking chalk dust. I thought there had to be something better out there and I found it. I figured I'd give this one a shot and I'm SO GLAD I did. I chose the peanut butter chocolate flavor and it tastes just like a milkshake. I usually put either PB2 or chocolate PB2 in for a little extra flavor or even a teaspoon of real peanut butter depending on my mood or what I'm craving. It keeps me full until my next meal and I am now not even really hungry at snack time, though I do still eat then, now I just eat less. Compared to the samples I was provided from my doctor, this line actually is BETTER for me than the doctor recommended shakes. Also, the cost is a HUGE factor. It's almost half the price. Also, it's eleigible for Prime, so I usually get it in a day or so. I will definitely be ordering this from now on ... show more

I selected the chocolate peanut butter shake flavor and it is super delicious. It is not chalky or have a funny after taste. It fills you up for a meal which is great. I am on day 8 and have noticed more energy. My clothes still feel the same and I think everyone adjusts to diets differently. I am not weighing my self until 21 days. My only negative is they send this huge container and it is only 60% filled... so you get way less than you think...otherwise it tastes delicious ... show more

I was looking for a cheaper alternative to Shakeology because spending $130 or more each month was something I could not keep doing even though I loved it. So, I tried a few different products from the grocery store and was extremely unhappy. I started doing research online and found out about Labrada meal replacement and figured I would give it a try. I have ordered it for the past three months and I love it. I blend ice, almond milk, a little all natural peanut butter (to make it a little creamier), and only one scoop of labrada lean body chocolate pb. I love it it tastes amazing, mixes great. I do wish it wasnt 2 scoops per serving though because the big container only last 15 days then and it ends up costing 80 a month. Which is why I use 1 scoop. Even though I love it im still going to have to find a more cost effective product. 40 a month would be great. ... show more

This product is great. It does keep you full for a long time. I decided to go on a meal replacement because i kept forgetting my lunches at home and then I would end up eating out. By buying this I am able to keep the bottle at work and font have to remember my lunch everyday, i just have to remember to order a bottle when I am low. I usually drink it around 11am and dont get hungry until 4pm. I do have to fight the eat because I am bored around 2-3pm. I was worried that I would lack energy with a meal replacement BUT I just keep going and there is usually no dip in energy. I have started my 2nd bottle and have no plans on stopping ... show more
