I have used many Lab Series products over the years and this is one of my favorites, so I am glad that they still make it! This product comes out of the can with a thick gel/foam consistency and a little will go a long way. I use a multi-blade razor/wet shave method and like a close shave, so i make multiple passes in several directions while keeping the razor wet. This product provides plenty of lubrication and rinses easily from both my face and razor. I have also recommended this product to friends and have never gotten any negative feedback. ... show more

This is the best shaving gel I have ever had. Have tried so many over 30 years . Regrettably Lab series replaced them with a joke. Very soon they will learn from a dry pocket. You can’t discontinue a winning product.

this is much better than the ordinary shave cream you might pick up at the local supermarket or drug store. it provides a very smooth shave. using this makes razor burn a thing of the past.

It’s a great option- for the longest time I was using a gel that had no fragrance that was very cheap and you could buy at Target, etc (Edge?)- then I guess their hillbilly demographic decided If it don’t got no smell, how can it have any value? Hyuk! So I’m back to this one, the pricier option.

    • OK, but nothing different.
Based on price and reviews, I thought I would give it a try, expecting something really different. Its not. Its just like the $3 foaming gel, except more expensive.

    • Smooth shave
This shave cream applies well and gives a smooth shave, However, I still prefer Aramis Shave creamn in aerosol bottle. However, it no longer appears to be a readily available product.

    • Lots of lather smooth shave.
I use both the tube and this. Both work well. This seems to last forever. You use a very small amount.
