The media could not be loaded. I was supposed to get all 3 bundles installed tomorrow. But due to the UPS having mechanical issues only one of three boxes being delivered that is no longer happening. The one box I did receive I went ahead and opened and photographed for everyone to see. Friendly reminder that LaaVoo doesn’t ship the same order together. Don’t make any appointments till your hair is in hand. The hair is beautiful and so soft! I can’t wait to see it on. Update* I used 3 bundles in my hair and opened my 4th bundle to go ahead and do a quick tutorial for us non-beauty industry people. My hair isn’t black, it is darkest brown. This would be good for people with black hair. 1/22/2020 the photo in black is after having my hair colored and trimmed/layered. Although she took off quite a bit off the volume it looks much more natural now and blends beautifully! She dyed my hair “soft black” and for the #1 it matched perfectly! I have seen a split end and had to cut it but the damage post dye, daily blow dry and shampooing/conditioning with Maui milk has kept it VERY SOFT Update 1/28/21 So I’ve had very little loss of hair I did lose some beaded extensions (4) but I was using a very harsh brush, I’ve since switched to a wet brush and haven’t had any issues since ... show more

    • Excellent hair that is easy to install yourself

The media could not be loaded. I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of Laavoo hair extensions. Being a single mom I am on a tight budget for extras especially for me. I had been saving up ever since I had a bad bleach experience and had to cut all my hair very short. So I did lots of research and price and feature comparisons of all the different types and companies of hair extensions. I quickly realized that not only do you have to buy the hair but you have to pay a professional for installing and some installs are more than the hair itself. I was discouraged but kept looking until I found Laavoo. They had the quality hair at a price that wasn't going to wipe me out. They also had something else that set them apart from their competitors. Laavoo was singular in their innovation for installing the hair. On their micro loop hair extensions the hair comes pre bonded with bead and silicon liner. The unique thing is that the hair also also has a plastic loop that you lasso around the small section of hair and then you pull that hair down through the bead and slide bead up to near scalp. Once the hair is threaded through the plastic loop comes out and you are left with the extension and you just use pliers to crimp the bead securing it in place. Voila hair extension is in AND it is so to easy to DIY saving you the cost of the install. I was able to do 80% by myself and had my sister help me with the back of my head. The hair itself truly is thick from end to end. I have seen some of the lower priced hair and it looks thin and stragly with no shine. If you are on the fence and doing your research like I was please take my word that this is the best hair that you can buy and easily install yourself. ... show more

Please don’t judge my nasty roots in my before pic ( my hair is naturally blonde) BUT when I was in my 2nd trimester with my son, my hair was falling out like crazy. I had big bald spots on my head so I wore clip ins & it made it so much worse. I love micro loops because they grow with your hair. They do not damage your hair. At all. I had mine in for 3 months. None slipped out. My hair had grown and when I did take them out, I looked to see if any of my hair had broke off with it and it hadn’t. They stay soft. Little to any fall out. True to color. They would’ve lasted me longer, but my roots grow out so blonde & I looked like a greasy mess. HIGHLY RECOMMEND LaaVoo :) (3 packs were the perfect amount for my hair) ... show more

Note: there's a glue type adhesive inside the microloop to keep the hair together and after your clamp it, the glue will melt if you straighten your hair and pass the iron over the clasp. If the loops are really tight, it wont really matter. I've been wearing these for about 3 months and only a handful have come out and the hair itself has held up. I have medium/thin hair and I bought two packs. I only used one pack +3 or so strands from the other for a full head. It blended really well (helps if your hair is not cut because hair will grow longer in the back if you leave it alone. it looks bad without the extensions but helps blend in better once you do. My natural hair is just barely past shoulder length so these added a lot of length while looking natural from all sides. I put them in kinda haphazardly while trying to somewhat follow a pattern. So far I am not at all impressed by these hair extensions. Which is a bummer because I bought enough for a full head, 3 pieces from LaaVoo based on all the great reviews, and of course once used you're SOL on any returning. I bought two 22-inch micro ring weft and one 22-inch bundle of the micro link individuals. I did just install them a few days ago, which involved a lot of shedding of the hair, bummer. I am hoping I can make them work because that is a lot of money to lose for a product that isn't great :( I will come back to this review and edit it after maybe a week of this hair in.... And post some pictures too, as for the moment i'm not even satified enough with how they look to want to post a picture, which sucks. Hoping I can improve this situation. ... show more

Pros: These are quality and held their curl beautifully. I used a 1” curler and they loosened up to a beach wave. I ordered the 14s and 16s in 1B/grey-silver. I work at a salon and considered the halo from there until I ordered these. Cons: These are not completely ashy grey there are some points when it’s warm between the black and the grey but that is very natural when you transition to grey. The weight of these are about 1/5 of the Halo that I can order from work. So I do need to order 4 to 5 packs, which it did mention for a full head on their Amazon page. Not any super big cons really, other than when I weighed the 16 inch it was a little short on the weight (yes, I’m that person. A perfectionist). ... show more
